Avenger Assembled Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Weaver and Fleur, You both notice that Rayford's computer is the only one with a webcam on its desk, specifically one with a glowing red lens that doesn't look like anything else in the office. The computers here aren't particularly sophisticated, none of them have any kind of additional appliances but this one. Weaver, since you had the highest score, when you pass your hand in front of the lens you distinctly feel heat. Supercape, You have bad Notice, but good super-senses; there's a significant source of electromagnetic radiation, especially radio signals, coming from Rayford's computer, and on closer inspection it turns out it's the 'webcam' on top.
Supercape Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 if possible, sc is going to see if he can use radio tracking super sense. Taking 10 on amy notice or search roll
Airon Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 wasn't Rene your character in this thread? What happened? freaky friday! aaaahhhh! ( )
Supercape Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Oops that's going to need some serious edits! Apologies to all, guessy recent virus and late nights working has mushed up my brain more than I thought. Will tryto edit tonight
Supercape Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Right deleted the post with SUpercape in. AA: Back to the Notice roll, probably fairest I use the initial Roll +12 for Rene giving 15. I don't know if that changes the result, but seeing as others have spotted it I will post IC saying Rene's relative ignorance of technology and his poor eyesight means he is lost anyway!
Airon Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Sense Motive during the time I create the ribbon and give it to her - to monitor how natural the awe/joy that a kid in front of a small magic gift expresses. I would take 10, for a total of 23.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 21, 2012 Author Posted February 21, 2012 Airon: Her reactions are: FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE (Anyone who can beat 20 on a Sense Motive check will notice the same)
Supercape Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Using Illusion power from mystic brush array for that. Arguably that should be a visual communication stunt, in which case, burning an HP for the coolness!
Supercape Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 If it comes to it, I am thinking of using the ritualistic feat for some suitable detect or ESP effect.
Avenger Assembled Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 Material components aplenty, SC! Fleur, how we doing with the Murder Girl?
Airon Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 If I understood correctly and the girl is laying on some sort of mattress instead of a steel slab, there's two ways what I am about to stunt could work. Both do the same thing. 1) I use my regular Move Object power on the fabric surrounding the girl and position it so that it shields her, then I Stunt the following power: Boost Toughness 15 (Extra: Ranged, Impervious; Flaw: Limited to cloth; PF: Indirect 2) 2) I can do the same by stunting Create Objects(Extra: Impervious; PF: Indirect 2) to simulate the empowered cloth shield I'm making with the stuffing. Indirect 2 should be able to get past the glass even for non-perception powers, right?
Avenger Assembled Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 2 makes the most sense for me, and I'm sure Rene wouldn't mind spending an HP to let you see what he's doing? Sounds like a plan to me.
Supercape Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I'm sure Rene wouldn't mind spending an HP to let you see what he's doing? Fine by me.
Avenger Assembled Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 Thanks, SC; just trying to get an older thread wrapped up!
