Supercape
OK, so its a thick oak table, Ill give it toughness 5 1d20+5=6 Yah...its toast. Ok, So Finnigan, I'm giving him a -2 Attack Penalty due to just being rattled by an exploding table, returning Fire to Starlight 1d20+10=30 Ouch...thats a critical on Starlight, so a 23 Toughness roll please. Mook will also charge Starlight on his turn 1d20+8=27... well its not a critical, but its a DC 18 Toughness save. Link to comment
Supercape
I need a post from Airoo regarding her shootin' prior to posting Finnigan and Mooks. Link to comment
Raveled
Toughness save, vs DC 23. (1d20+10=15) Let's reroll that! Toughness save, vs DC 23. Reroll. (1d20+10=22) Okay, a Bruise isn't much. Toughness save, vs DC 18. Reroll. (1d20+9=19) Link to comment
Supercape
For reference: Starlight 3 HP - Bruised Awaiting Roo's post for Catalyst, then I will post Finnigan/Mooks actions. Link to comment
Supercape
Round 3 26 Siphon - 4 HP - Unhamed 17 Catalyst - 3HP - Unharmed 14 Starlight - 2 HP - Fatigued, Bruised. 13 Finnigan - Bruised 7 Goon - Unharmed Siphon is up! Rav: I miscounted Starlights HP, she should be a 2HP. Huge apologies and I hope you wont bust my balls over that! Also, we forgot to include Starlights Fatigued condition, but lets try and remember this round! Link to comment
Raveled
Won't matter much. After this round it'll all be over, right? ;) Link to comment
Supercape
There may be tanks involved.... ;) Link to comment
Azuth65
1d20+7=20 to punch mr. remaining mook in the face. Link to comment
Supercape
Its a hit! But unfortunately vs DC 19 1d20+4=20 Post away! Catalyst up next! Link to comment
Aoiroo
Catalyst does a targetted area stun against Finnigan and his goon (less it's selective), 33, that's a Crit, so DC 20 Fortitude. Link to comment
Supercape
Finnigan is stunned 1d20+5=15 Goon is 1d20+5=25 incredibly, still standing! Post away! Link to comment
Raveled
He's flat-footed, so Power Attack! Starlight's ranged attack check w/ +2 Power Attack, vs Finn's Def. DC 27 Tou (1d20+8=11) Link to comment
Supercape
Which is a miss! Finnigan is stunned, so just splutters. Our Resilient Goon charges at Catalyst, putting him at -2 Defence next round. 1d20+8=24 Is a hit, and thats a DC 20 Toughness save for Carrie. Back to next round: Round 4 26 Siphon - 4 HP - Unhamed 17 Catalyst - 3HP - Bruised and Dazed (until 7) 14 Starlight - 2 HP - Fatigued, Bruised. 13 Finnigan - Bruised, Stunned (until Catalyst, at which point he 1d20+5=23 recovers!) 7 Goon - Unharmed Siphon is up! Supercape
Duly noted above. Siphon is up! Link to comment
Azuth65
Well, since Siphon's dance partner moved away, he's gonna take a shot at Finny. All-out and power attacks leaving Siphon with +7 atk, +6 unarmed damage, +6 defense. 1d20+7=24, should hit. DC 21 toughness from The Boss. Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+6=12 And, given I forgot to add the bruise, thats a fail by 10. Bruised, Dazed, Staggered. However at this point, I will say you can narrate the defeat of Finnigan and Goon - at their PL and injuries fighting back is simply not viable, so feel free to Narrate your blow and this fight is over effectively. Raveled
Can I CdG Finny and put him down? In any case, Starlight will fly up to the tanks and switch to her CO AP, putting a wall of energy between her and the tanks, and then try to talk them down. Starlight's Diplomacy check. (1d20+10=14) Man, I need to get her more thanks in this. Link to comment
Supercape
You can CdG. That diplomacy ain't going to cut it! Whats the Wall of Energy? Create Object? Link to comment
Raveled
Indeed, CO. Just another thing they have to blast if they want to hurt Starlight. Link to comment
Supercape
Ok you are facing three tanks - they may be steam punk, but they are the same as M&M Core book, although a little slower. Speed 2 (25mph) Toughness 12 (Impervious 6) Size Huge (so you wont be missing much) Weapons: Gatling Gun (Blast 6, Autofire), Cannon (Blast 10, Explosion) Its attackers are using +6 Ranged skill with weapons. Not great, but there you go. Of course the tanks have all the normal penalties associated with vehicles and you can do whatever clever stuff you fancy. They are, of course occupied with Finnigans Gunslingers who are minions, and Erasmus Steel, who is not (but is low PL). Link to comment
Supercape
So for narrative purposes, because this is all a bit fudged, let the Energy construct of Starlight crack, and let us roll initiative! 1d20=6 for the tanks. Link to comment
Azuth65
1d20+8=9. Well, at least we're getting the Nat 1 out of the way now... Link to comment
