Cube Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Pyre is going to try and throw a fireball at them because while he could reach them with a jump, it wouldn't be practical. 1d20+10=23 Aaand, versus concealment... 1d20=8
Tiffany Korta Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 That's a good hit, unfortunately there fireproof. Also Revenant left just before they arrived, Pyre might not have noticed so you keep it either way. Initiative 16 Whiplash - Unharmed - 1 HP 16 Demon 2 (Minion) - Unharmed - GM 12 Demon 1 (Minion) - Unharmed - GM 11 Pyre - Unharmed - 2 HP Back round to Whiplash
Derin Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Attempting to trip one of the demons and bring them down. Attack: 1d20+12=19 Trip: (1d20+12=23) Using echolocation goggles to prevent issues with concealment, of course.
Tiffany Korta Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 Demon's trip resistance 1d20+8=21, so that's a trip. It'll fall 20ft onto the rooftop, not much damage but you never know...1d20+8=26. It's fine. Demon 1 is up to something though you don't know what, whilst Demon 2 is trying to hit Pyre in the Mist Attack roll 1d20+6=15, for concealment 1d20=9. That would be a DC 25 Toughness save please Cube. If still able you'll Pyre's up next.
Cube Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 1d20+15=30 I assume Pyre's Fire Immunity doesn't come into play. Alright, I'll attack the demon that's now on the rooftop, with an All Out Attack. 1d20+10=15 ...Mrph. Hero Pointing. 1d20+10=25 Much better. And... concealment... 1d20=8 Good.
Tiffany Korta Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 Could you give me a Will save DC 15
Tiffany Korta Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 The target you hit unfortunately isn't there, he's hiding under an illusion. And helpfully for you it's still your go.
Cube Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Oh, shoot. Hrm...Do I get that hero point back, then? Alright, Warning Whiplash and trying to provide cover, then.

Derin Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Will save (1d20+7=13) Whiplash is currently using sound to see instead of light, does the illusion still affect her?
Tiffany Korta Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Unfortunately the Demons are smarter than they look, the Illusion works against all senses.
Derin Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Dammit. Trying to trip the flying demon, then. Attack: 1d20+12=29 Trip: 1d20+12=26

I dunno. But since they're in melee... PUNCH! (1d20+10=30) Ooooh. Going for the increased effect ability for... a DC 35 Unarmed Strike. Owie.

Derin Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Let's smack the visible demon with a good old-fashioned Strike. Attack roll: 1d20+12=31

Toughness Save for Pyre and then his go.
Cube Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 1d20+15=18 Ow... That's a failure by 6. I'm dazed and bruised.

Tiffany Korta Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 His Toughness Save 1d20+8=12. Guess they don't like it . Arrrggghhh. They're minions, one hit and down kind of things. So both are down and Pyre shouldn't have take the hit. To make up for my gross incompetance you can both have a Hero Point and we're out of combat.
Tiffany Korta Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 All this attention will allow Pyre a recovery roll.
Tiffany Korta Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 And we're back! Rather than go via Mr Exposition I think it'll be better to feed the information this way.
