Avenger Assembled
The guards are still unfriendly, but they're willing to give Corbin some rope here. Give me a...Knowledge: Business check. DC 20! Sage, Papercut? Link to comment
Fox
Hmmm. Indira shapeshifts 2pp into Intimidate, for a total bonus of 10 (8 ranks + 2 cha) - she'll be buying the actual skill ranks soon, now that she's tried this sorta thing out in the field. Interrogation time! Intimidation Check vs. Shapeshifter (1d20 + 10=19) Nope. Intimidation Check REROLL vs. Shapeshifter (1d20 + 10=13) +10 is 23, plus or minus applicable bonuses, as GM wishes. KnightDisciple
The guards are still unfriendly, but they're willing to give Corbin some rope here. Give me a...Knowledge: Business check. DC 20! This, I have ranks in. Booyah, Natural 20, Check is 30. :D Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
KD: Keres is the name of an infiltrator and sophisticated corporate saboteur. Because of Corbin's superheroic connections (and his nat-20), Corbin recognizes that Keres is a robot, and an agent of the Foundry! Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Arr, I'll say Sage can recognize the Freebooter straight off, me hearties, and can be considered to have passed that info (along with a 'live feed' straight back to Papercut) Link to comment
April
Standard Action: Aid Papercut's Attack vs Freebooter. Move Action: Fast Acrobatic Feint vs Freebooter (DC35) and then Set-Up Papercut. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Those both succeed automatically, given Freebooter's stats. Go ahead and post if you can. Link to comment
Electra
Koshiro will use his Move Object to, as requested, make up another villain containment box around Freebooter. Since he's flat-footed, I'm going to power attack for 3. A shoddy roll nets a 17, which I am told will hit the hapless villain. Grapple check is a 38. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
24 Bound and Helpless, for now. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Wraith (and anyone else sneaking in): I need a Stealth check. It's not going to be that tough to avoid being seen, given the big giant distraction that's Citizen and Rogue hamming it up at each other, but you will be able to see more things vis a vis the freighter and where the bomb might be. Cobalt Templar and Ghost Girl: Initiative time! Sharl is down an HP. Link to comment
KnightDisciple
Cobalt Templar Initiative: 20. Good job, Corbin. AA: How big is he right now? Keres, that is. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
He has Growth 4. Hulk big, not Godzilla. Link to comment
Fox
Wraith shapeshifts: Enhanced Ability 2 (Dex +2) [2pp] Hide in Plain Sight [1pp] Speed 1 (10mph / 100ft per Move Action) [1pp] Super-Movement 3 (Slithering, Wall-Crawling 2) [6pp] [2 + 1 + 1 + 6 = 10/10pp] (Hide in Plain Sight is assuming that there are enough metal objects/walls/whatever inside the ship that she can camouflage as necessary, though she'll be sticking to vents, crawlspaces, and ceilings when possible.) Stealth Check (1d20 + 16=35) Well! Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Keres: 23 Ghost Girl: 22 Cobalt Templar: 20 Keres is going to go ahead and punch Cobalt Templar, since he's the guy Keres has been sparring with verbally lately. Keres' stats 12 Well, that's a whiff, even versus Cobalt Templar's flat-footed Defense. What a terrible roll! Ah well. Ghost Girl is up. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Keres Fight: Still waiting on that post, Giz! Rogue Fight: Sage is disabled and unconscious. Have an HP, Sorus! Sage just screamed in everyone's mind, but now that's done. Blobby: 21 Armorcat: 12 Knives: 9 Citizen: 12 Rogue: 3 All the minions are moving on the Rogue/Citizen fight, leaving Papercut and Wraith largely unmolested around the hostages, at least for now. Gizmo
Right, sorry! Gal Vanic Move Action: Feint Keres. (1d20+1=12) Standard Action: Charge Keres, Power Attack 2. (1d20+7=14) That probably doesn't do it so, assuming it's needed: Charge Keres, Power Attack 2, HP reroll. (1d20+7=15) Make that 25. That's a DC 32 punch. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Vs. Feint: He passes Vs. 32: 33 Yowsa, passed it by one. Cobalt Templar is up. Link to comment
KnightDisciple
Right then, it's time for CT to enter the "big time". Free Action: Switch CT's Fires of Judgement Array to his Large form. He's now Large (9ft tall, 10ft reach), Immovable 1, Super-Strength 8, Strength 34, Defense is +6, Toughness still +17. I think that's everything. Move Action: Get up in Keres's business! :x Standard Action: Take a swing at him! 22 should do it. So...COBALT TEMPLAR SMASH! DC 27 Toughness Save. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Tou vs 27: 31 Dang, Roid!Keres may be a little overly robusto here. Initiative in the Skyfight: Blobby: 21 Armorcat: 12 Citizen: 12 (2 HP via Complications) Knives: 9 Rogue: 3 Blobby McGee is slow, so he'll be spending his full round action getting up there. Armorcat has movement enough to fly up to Citizen and hit him. I'll Fiat that she does hit (inflicting a DC 25 Tou save), and giving Citizen another HP. Citizen passes Citizen: Move Action: Set Sage down Standard Action: Punch Armorcat 30 Welp, that's a crit Tou vs 34: 23 Sharl is inflicting full knockback into the side of the container. With a DMG 19 attack and Impervious 10, the total is 9: 500 ft. That's close enough to hit the hull of the ship. That's another DC 34 Tou save: 27 Injuredx2, Dazed until Sharl's round comes up again. Rogue is up next. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Xevon lights the Firewall as his full-round action, putting a barrier between the heroes in the cargo hold and the heroes outside. What kind of barrier? Poke it and see! Rogue punches Citizen and he takes a bruise. Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
Both Gal Vanic and Cobalt Templar, take an HP for Keres making it personal. That's an All-Out Power Attack; his to-hit is currently 13. Of course, that's also a DC 36 Tou save for Cobalt Templar... Link to comment
KnightDisciple
Yipes! 36! 24. Ouch. 12 Under is...ouch, Staggered and Dazed. Hero Point Reroll. Sonnavucrap. Well, with the +10 from HP reroll, that's a 28, which makes just Dazed and Bruised. So I'll take that. 1 Bruise for CT, and -1HP. Link to comment
Gizmo
Gal Vanic Standard Action: Power Attack 5. (1d20+2=16) That's DC 35! Link to comment
Avenger Assembled
26 Failed by nine, so bruised and dazed. Link to comment
