She could talk to someone very easy and most people found it easy to talk to her. Growing up was very easy for her. She transitioned through childhood into a teenager almost seemingly. It was during her teenage years that her powers began to show. The whole thing discomforted her, but not that anyone knew. She new she was messing with people's head of her own accord and it slightly frightened her. She kept her gifts a secret. On her 16 birthday she couldn't stand to keep the secret anymore. Her powers had been misfiring left and right and there was nothing she could do about it. That and, the powers being so subtle, no one ever knew she was doing it. She went to Freedom Hall herself and asked for help. They directed her to the Albright Institute. There Marcella met the help she needed. They studied herand even hooked her up with a psychic trainer by the name of Mr. Mind. Mr. Mind was Marcella's first crush, even thugh he was twice her age. The love was, of course, unrequited, but Mr. Mind taught her that even though she wanted something she could not use her powers to take it. It was the diffence between being a selfish person and a hero. Marcella understood and seemingly from then on she kept her powers in check. After she was done with her training at the Institute a few years later, she and Mr. Mind kept a mentor student relationship. She had a secret identity to keep now. For she was no selfish person, she was going to be a superhero. She followed her dream of being an actress and a model, but what really interested her, as always, was talking to people. She wanted to do so for a living. And as any step in the door you have to start at the bottom. She hosts a local daytime talk show in Freedom City. The Marcella Show deals with local upstart heroes. she gives them time to explain what they're doing and where they'll be. Most are just grandstanders, which the crowd eats up, though the few that are sincere get a bigger following than the flashes in the pan. Then there's Marcella's fourth job. She is Ms. Mind. She got permission from her mentor to use said name. It wasn't until recently she started, but now she is juggling her superheroic life with her normal life. Not an easy task, but something she enjoys!
