Dr Archeville Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Any chance Protectron may know something of this Flag Street Gang?
Supercape Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Its a streetwise knowledge roll. They are pretty small fry, DC 20 trained skill check I would say.
Dr Archeville Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Knowledge (Streetwise) check (1d20+5=9) It knows nothing!
Supercape Posted April 17, 2012 Author Posted April 17, 2012 With Impervious 1 and Civies having strength 10, I am ruling they cant touch Protectron.
Supercape Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Hoofing the boxer's stats: STR 14, DEX 14, CON 14. Fort +5, Reflex +5, Will +0, Toughness +4 (+2 FF), Initiative +2, Attack +2/+4 Melee, Defence +4 (DC 17 Unarmed, 19 with Club) Bluff, Intimidate, Sense Motive at +4 Feats: Attack Focus Melee 2, Fighting Style (Boxing) [All Out Attack, Defensive Attack, Elusive target, Improved Block, Power Attack, Takedown Attack) And their initiative: 1d20+2=19
Dr Archeville Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Are they to be treated as Minions? Protectron's initiative (1d20+5=7) They've got the drop on 'im (er, it)! (Which means Protectron's flat-footed, so its Defense is a mere 13!)
Supercape Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Charge! (as in, Charge Rules!) 1d20+6=9, 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=17 So a baseball bat and a crowbar to the face! DC 19 Toughness check x2
Dr Archeville Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Toughness saves, DC 19 (1d20+15=18, 1d20+15=28) First one fails, but second one easily passes.
Dr Archeville Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Protectron -- Fatigued (-2 Str & Dex, -1 Att & Def), Injury -- 2 HP So Protectron's at Attack +5, +11 Melee, Str 32/+11, Grapple +23, Defense +6 (+2 flat-footed) They've charged, so their Defense is (10+4-2) 12. I'm going to assume these guys are Minions, like the others, so I can Take 10 on attack rolls. Standard Action: Unarmed strike on baseball bat Defensive Attack maneuver (-2 Attack, +2 Defense) Take 10 on the attack gets (10+11-2) 19, easily hitting the Print. Damage is DC (15+11) 26, which they can't pass with their +4 to Toughness, and since they're minions any failed Toughness save KOs them. Reaction: use Improved Grab to grapple KO'd baseball bat-wielding Print. (Taking 10, attack roll is 19 [hits], grapple check is (10+23-2) 31 [which he can't beat]) Move Action: Throw baseball bat-wielding Print at sledgehammer-wielding Print (which you can do as a Move action if it's in the same round as when you grapple your foe) Take 10 on the ranged attack is a (10+5-2) 13, which hits (but only because they charged)! In Chat there's been talk recently about how to handle throwing people into other people, and I believe the consensus is that it's treated like throwing objects: Damage done to the target equals the thrower's Str bonus, plus a bit extra if the thrown person's Toughness exceeds the thrower's Str [which, in this case, it does not]. So, Damage would be the same as Protectron's unarmed strike, DC 25, which KOs the targeted Print. Knockback = Damage (10) - 2 (half their Toughness) = 8 = up to 250 feet. Protectron will aim to knock them back to the door they came up out of, hopefully delaying anyone else coming up that way. Two Prints (baseball bat, sledgehammer) down, one (crowbar) still up. Protectron -- Fatigued (-2 Str & Dex, -1 Att & Def), Injury -- 2 HP Has used Defensive Attack (-2 Attk/+2 Def) Attack +3, +9 Melee, Str 32/+11, Grapple +21, Defense +8 (+4 flat-footed)
Supercape Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Crowbar boxer's swing! 1d20+4=12 Miss! Given your take 10 and general PL awesomeness, feel free to narrate KO'ing / Whatevering you wish to do with the last guy...!
Dr Archeville Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 HP to nix Fatigue, then Extra Effort to stunt Healing 6 (Extra: Total) {18/18} Off the energy systems powers its Enhanced Strength 18 (like so). Protectron's Fatigued and down to 1 HP.
Supercape Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 I'm not going to "charge" for that stunt, so to speak Dok. Its suitably heroic to heal a bystander using your own energy! HP time! Protectron - 2 HP - Fatigued - Injured
Dr Archeville Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 HP to clear Fatigued Extra Effort for a new stunt off its Enhanced STR 18: Snare 6 (Extras: Area [30-ft. Burst, Targeted], Selective Attack; Flaw: Action [Full], Range [Touch]; PFs: Accurate 2 [+10 to hit], Progression 4 [600-ft. Burst Area]) {18/18} Power Attack 'maneuver' -2 Attk/+2 Effect Taking 10 on attacking the Print-Minions = hits Defense 18, then they make a DC 18 Reflex save to avoid the Snare. Fatigued, Injured, 1 HP
Supercape Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 These Prints are just bystanders, so no meaningful chance of saving and not much in the way of fight back, so all snared!
Supercape Posted May 24, 2012 Author Posted May 24, 2012 Initiative Roll for when it kicks off please! You may wish to use Behavioural Sciences Knowledge and Sense Motive to see if you can guess who the real Harry Print is...
Dr Archeville Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Knowledge (Behavioral Science) (1d20+5=21) Sense Motive (1d20+3=20) Not bad!
Supercape Posted May 24, 2012 Author Posted May 24, 2012 Sounds good to me. Fluff that up and you have a good guess who the 'real' Print is. Dressed in a gym tank top and jeans.
Dr Archeville Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Fatigued, Injured, 1 HP Initiative roll (1d20+5=7)
Supercape Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 Hold that thought (and roll!) a bit of dialouge first! Feel free to throw in speculative Intimidate / Bluff / Diplomacy / Sense Motive rolls!
Supercape Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 I gotta say, this is looking rather like a diplomatic win! (YOu always end so well!) Throw me in a diplomacy roll!
Dr Archeville Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Maybe, maybe not -- Protectron tries, but it's got a CHA of 10/+0 and no actual ranks in any social interaction skill! Its choice of words may be solid, but its delivery is decidedly lacking. Diplomacy check (1d20=16)
Supercape Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Ok I am inclined to say you have won Print over, kinda-sorta. How does that sound or do you want a punch up? :)
Dr Archeville Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Protectron's always happy to see diplomatic, non-violent solutions, so let's go with that.
Dr Archeville Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 So... does it look like Blueprint's going to try and im-Print Junior? Because if so, Protectron's attacking.
Supercape Posted May 30, 2012 Author Posted May 30, 2012 On the edge! Protectrons next words are vital!!!! dum dum daaaah!
