Lone Star Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 This is the OOC for Something Eldritch This Way Comes. Ignore me!
KnightDisciple Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 When do you guys want CT to get involved? I'll wait for whenever you think is dramatically appropriate.
Lone Star Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 KC fires away at Etain, trying to slow her down at least. He rolls a 16, hitting her. That's a DC 26 Toughness for Etain.
KnightDisciple Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I'm going to preemptively roll initiative for CT, since he will be taking combat actions. He's at 11. I'll make a quick post of him getting to the point of being able to see the fight, and then you both let me know where he falls in the order of things, and I can post as appropriate.
Quinn Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Ditto for Crow. Initiative check! (1d20+8=9) And yes, that is an ancient and binding oath of the Tuatha de Dannan that I just made up right there. For reference, The Four Treasures.
Dr Archeville Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 And Dead Head goes dead last with a 5.
Aoiroo Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Umm, not to be rude, I'd love to do a thread with Dead Head and Crow, but this is a little too big don't you think? I mean honestly, too many balls in the air on something like this is a bit bad.
Lone Star Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Alright party people, we seem to have a little bit of a disagreement here. On one hand, it's nice for KC's buddies to be on his side. But Roo thinks that we have way too many people in one thread, especially since it's mostly intented to be a social one, and I kind of agree. However, I'd like everyone's input on what's going to happen next. I think that we should end combat and have someone explain to Etain that he's actually not evil, and then Etain and KC patch it up.
KnightDisciple Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I'm fine with ending combat. I only rolled init because we were actually in rounds; if we'd kept it all "fluff" I wouldn't have cared. I do think, personally, it might have worked a touch better if we hadn't had more than the "original" 4 in here. But of course now everyone's here and it's hard to say how to handle it. I'll be honest, I cam into the thread expecting focused shenanigans between Corbin, Blake, Etain, and Eve. I'm a bit short on ideas for what to do *now* though.
Aoiroo Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I'd really like it to that it's just an Eve, Etain, Blake and Corbin thread. I suggested an alternate thread, different plot, Lones suggested a split from this thread that follows along this storyline where Dead Head and Crow try to think of a solution or something with Blake and Corbin or something. I'd rather have an alternate thread where Dead Head and Crow meet over at Parkhurst for different circumstances. Seriously, this just, blah. I really wish this had gotten to me earlier, I could of stopped this in the process if I was here, but I was working man, for the first time I have a job and it's that moment that I get a story to fall apart cause I'm not here.
Dr Archeville Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I've no problem with Dead Head shambling off once he sees things are taken care of (and I'll make one last post to that effect), and then doing a later thread. Would you be okay with that?

Quinn Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Same here; once his friends aren't trying to kill each other, Morgan's still got studying to do.
