Tiffany Korta Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Arcane Knowledge 1d20+4=23, not bad for Revenant but she's outclassed here .
Scuffles Posted May 30, 2012 Author Posted May 30, 2012 Okay! You can both tell that she's possessed. Rene can tell a LOT more. The possessing entity is a simple spirit of rage. It's not very intelligent and definitely didn't get here by itself. There's several dozen rituals that could probably summon one though. She doesn't naturally have great strength of her own - that's come from (or with) the spirit. The spirit only has a very tenuous hold over the girl and she's close to regaining control of her own actions. The flying teenager with the black flames had similar but far more powerful magic leaking off him. Rene can banish the spirit with his magic using some extra effort (if he remembers the spell of course. Not knowing how would be the "Hazy memory" complication if you want it). Revenant could probably achieve the same affect but that would have to be by punching the girl's lights out! :D
Supercape Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Ill dispel using Extra Effort (or a HP?) - if Rene is up next? How do you want to simulate this?
Scuffles Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 Combat's done, she's not going anywhere so you guys can have a chat about it and Rene can work his magic at his leisure.
Scuffles Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 For the record the Museum is about a mile to the west and you can probably just see the corner of the building if you squint just right! Did you want to make a post Tiffany or shall I move along a bit?
Tiffany Korta Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 As much as I'd like to show up Rene by pointing and saying "well it's over there", I'm happy for a cut scene to move the plot on.
