Raveled Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Ironclad, checking in. Do you mind if she's there in her official capacity as a representative of the Lab?
Shofet Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Now I need an angle to get the Penitent in there... Hmmm. I shall be thinking about it tonight.
VideoGeek Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Got Cosmos in there as a busboy. What else would a jockish high-schooler be doing here on a Saturday?
Ari Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 VideoGeek! Could I have a Sense-Motive check from you for Our Man Frank? DC is 10.
VideoGeek Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Frank isn't statted up, actually. He should be a fairly mediocre dude. If you meant Steven, he's got a +0, and I rolled a 7. Woo! Sensitive guy over here! ***EDIT*** Should've read the IC post first, huh? I thought you meant Steven's dad, Frank. Oops. Still a 7.
Ari Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 Meh. should have specified I was using the Bystander archetype from the Core for him. NVM. Steve doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
VideoGeek Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Corporal Cosmos' Initiative: (1d20+9=10) Steve is ON IT today!
Ari Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 Now then, going to rule that nobody hears the two robots that just passed Steve, which in this case means they can get the drop on the Penitent and/or Ironclad in the upcoming fight, if Corp. Cosmos doesn't stop them that is... Shofet, the Penitent can try to decipher the briefly-seen blueprints on his own(DC25 Knowledg(Technology) check), or he can transmit the captured thought to Ironclad for her to try and make heads and/or tails out of them. Using for the most part the Pawn archetype from the Crooks! 2e book, with the addition of Super-Movement(Wall-Crawling) rank, removal of the Flight power, dropping the Blast power to rank 10(previously 15) and removing the trade-off of Attack for Damage. Also increasing their Strength to 28(previously 18), and buying 2 ranks of Concealment(Auditory). Buying up the open Attack bonus. WEISSBOT stats: STR 28 DEX 16 CON - INT - WIS 10 CHA 1 TOU +15 FORT - REF +3 WILL +0 ATTACK +10 GRAPPLE +19 DAMAGE DC 25(Ranged), DC24(Melee) DEFENSE +5(+2 Flat-Footed), KNOCKBACK -7, INITIATIVE +3 Blast 10, Concealment 2(Auditory), Communication 4(Radio, 1 mile), Immunity 30(Fortitude), Protection 15, Super-Movement 2(Wall-Crawling), Super-Senses 3(Darkvision, Radio)
Ari Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 That misses, unfortunately. Their initiative rolls: 17 and 4 That of the other 8 'bots: 4. Tiebreaker roll: Sneaking one goes first So in order: 1. Ironclad: Unharmed, 4HP 2. Sneakbot 1: Unharmed 3. Penitent, the: Unharmed, 1HP 4. Corp. Cosmos: Unharmed, 1HP 5. Sneakbot 2: Unharmed 6. Weissbots(x8): Unharmed GM post up shortly.
VideoGeek Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Sorry, didn't notice their stats being in the box before, I suppose I could have resolved that myself. I'll try to pay more attention in the future.
Ari Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 No problem, and indeed, feel free to look at things I put in spoiler tags, most of the time it will just be to save initial space anyhow.
Raveled Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Ironclad will use her Cluster Munitions attack w/ full Power Attack. So taking 10 when attacking Minions, should hit as many as the Shapeable AoE will cover. That a DC 32 Toughness save for 'em, which they cannot possibly make.
Ari Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 No more they can't. All down! Sneakbot 1 will attack Corporal Cosmos with his guns: 25. Thankfully, Minions can't make criticals on non-Minions, so that's just a DC25 TOU save. Also, the commotion has reached levels where the Penitent and Ironclad can make a DC15 Notice check(yes, you can take 10) to detect the scuffle.
Shofet Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Welp, apparently the Penitent just crossed his eyes and went DERP. Natural one, baby.
