Supercape Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 You are quite correct Scuffles, sorry I missed that! Snakes away! Round 2! 27 - Glow - Unharmed - 2 HP 25 - El Sierpe - Bruised, Dazed (until 20), Staggered 20 - El Heraldo - Unharmed - 4 HP 13 - Snakes 5 large, 10 small. Glow is up.
Scuffles Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Okay so I was thinking that Glow might try to deal with all these snakes. Which she'd do by busting out her area TK alternate power (Which is targetted). And obviously if she can fit El Sierpe in the area she'd try to hit him with it too. Now if I can read (which isn't always a given) the book says I make one roll and it gets compared to the defense of anyone who gets attacked. So.... Attack roll: 18. Well, that probably hits some snakes at least. It would be a DC22 toughness save for anyone who gets hit.
Supercape Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 Sorry for delay, been really ill and still recovering... Constrictor snakes toughness +3 1d20+3=13, 1d20+3=18, 1d20+3=14, 1d20+3=9, 1d20+3=6 all fail! The vipers cant make that save at all! So all KO'd. Post away!
Supercape Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 Note: I am making El Sierpe a very annoying 3D villain! His current tactic is a bit mean (and will prob be worth HP). However these kind of situations can turn into something major for PCs in terms of backstory / complications / development etc. Also, this he is very frustrating! I don't want to impose stuff that people don't wont imposed. So I am trusting you both to let me know how far to push the envelope!
Scuffles Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Supercape, you're awesome! Ooh annoying bad guy is annoying. But that's ok, Glow can be pretty annoying too.
Ari Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Heraldo can't be pretty, but being annoying is what he does anyway, so that's all good. That and someone like Glow having a foe like this guy is certainly interesting, and it's nice for younger characters to deal with at least kind of sophisticated villains sometimes. Also? I WISH I could think up simple, practical obstacles like that.
Ari Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Of course. How ****************-headed of me to forget.
Ari Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Diplomacy roll: 14. The shock. HP reroll: 19. With the bonus, a 29.
Scuffles Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 A small and amusing typo! "Very well, very well!" replied Mr. Cloak, collapsing into his worn leather chair, deflated. "I...I have some documents that can put Mr. Cloak away. Insurance, you could call it..."
Supercape Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 :headasplode: Sorry guys! Corrected!
Scuffles Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Okay, so after her last mistake (leaving El Sierpe in the hands of the police) Kristin isn't overly keen to just leave the lawyer at the station without any superhero cover. However, I think it would be no fun to split Glow and Heraldo up and leave one of them out of the hunt for El Sierpe. Can we hand-wave her phoning the school (again) to get a babysitter sent to the station to make sure nothing goes awry? I'm going to assume it's a reasonable thing to do and make my post to get us moving again. Let me know if it's not and I can edit in the morning! :D
Supercape Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 Are you guys ok with a slighltly brutal but effective Cut to Meddows in hospital down south? By doing so Ari is assumed to get all the information he needs from the officer and Glow can call in whatever back up she feels like narrating to protect Mr. Cloak!
Ari Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Stunting Healing 10 off of Heraldo's Impervious Toughness, with the Tiring Flaw.
Supercape Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 Ok, Ideas / thoughts for how you guys track the slithering one? Any super senses or tracking etc? You can catch up with him of course, I'm just getting a feel for how fast, and under what circumstances!
