It not only hits, it scores a crit. So, DC31 Toughness save for the Goodman Building. Yeah, there is now a very big hole in the side. Citizen is up next.

(IDK which one that'll be) 30 DC 23 Tou save. I don't think Sharl's fists count as physical damage, but if you think they do, I'll try something else.

Two of them are Dazed. Their Flight is not Continuous, and they're several stories up. Concentration check time! Drone 2 succeeds, and Drone 3... does not. All right, given that we're fighting around the top floor of a skyscraper, that means terminal velocity. And it makes a save on 19 against 35, so it's in pieces. Drone 1: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 3 HP Drone 2: 18, Injured x1, Dazed (Citizen's Action), 0 HP Voltage: 17, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Bruised x2, 1 HP Drone 4: 10, Unharmed, 0 HP Miss Americana: 9, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade leaps from rooftop to rooftop, taking aim at Drone 4 in the process. He misses, but at least he manages to land correctly. Drone 4 takes advantage of the gap and fires a mysterious payload into the hole in the Nucleus. Ooh, mysterious. Miss Americana is up next.

Assuming she hits, it will also be a DC 34 toughness save. Move action to reach the missile lodged in the building. Spending HP to surge and try to get it out. Using my once-per-round array switch to ratchet up the Enhanced Strengthiness, then grappling! Grapple Check is a 41.

Meanwhile, Miss Americana grapples the payload - and the payload grapples back! It's Keres, represented here by AA's Robot Martial Artist at PL15 - meaning ATT +20, DEF +20, TOU +10, FORT --, REF +14, WILL +10, and DMG at around +5. He goes on 24, and he is Bound at the start of the next round. Keres: 24, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Drone 1: 19, Unharmed, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 3 HP Drone 2: 18, Injured x1, Dazed (Citizen's Action), 0 HP Voltage: 17, Unharmed, 4 HP Cannonade: 10, Bruised x2, 1 HP Miss Americana: 9, Unharmed, 4 HP Keres attempts to break his Grapple as a Move Action. That... does not go well for him. First time, at least. Second time, he's free but can't really do anything else. trollthumper Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 As an HP was spent to reroll and the result was under 11, then that 5 is a 15 and I'll say it hits. Drone 1 is Dazed and Staggered, and has to do that whole Concentration check thing. And fails, plummeting to the ground. Given that he's been racing downwards, I'll say he's "only" 100 ft. from surface level, so DC25 TOU save. The Drone makes it, but is still laid out on the sidewalk. Cannonade, meanwhile, takes advantage of Slow Fall and decides to piledrive Drone 1, aiming to use Improved Grab to establish a Grapple if that doesn't take the guy out. That will hit, and the Drone is Injured and his its Daze refresh. As for the Grapple, Cannonade scores a 39 while the Drone scores a 41, so it remains free. Keres: 24, Injured x1, Dazed (Citizen's Action), 0 HP Drone 1: 19, Injured x1, Dazed (Cannonade's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 3 HP Drone 2: 18, Injured x1, 0 HP Voltage: 17, Unharmed, 3 HP Cannonade: 10, Bruised x2, 1 HP Miss Americana: 9, Unharmed, 4 HP Miss Americana is up next.

She'll fly towards the ground, where she'll be a more attractive target to the drones than the civilians, should any of them try getting up.

As for Keres... well, that is a moderate vulnerability, so he has to make a DC30 Toughness save. And he is very, very toast. Roster, now truly updated for HP. Drone 1: 19, Injured x1, Dazed (Cannonade's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Citizen: 18, Unharmed, 1 HP Drone 2: 18, Injured x1, 0 HP Voltage: 17, Unharmed, 2 HP Cannonade: 10, Bruised x2, 1 HP Miss Americana: 9, Unharmed, 3 HP Cannonade's up, and he decides to go after Drone 1 again, this time with a -1/+1 Power Attack. He strikes, and... I'll spend that last HP for Improved Critical. So that's a DC32 TOU save, and the Drone takes another Injured and has its Daze refresh.
