Kristin watched Tona and Baxter as they reacted to the mimed attack with sweeping deflection-type blocks and moved backwards. Then she chewed on her lip for a second or two and asked a question instead of following suit. "Wouldn't it be better to move sideways or forwards instead?" she asked. "A weapon someone would swing like that is probably pretty long and it might be hard to get out of reach enough going backwards. And if I go forwards wouldn't I be able to step inside the swing and avoid the part with the most force?"

She mimed stepping forward into the blow with a similar sweeping style block to the one Tona had employed, then shrugged and looked at Erik for an answer.

"Or maybe go for their wrists and break their grip."

Jasmine herself mimed her explanation, but had to break her stance as she did by straightening up and pushing her two hands upwards and mimiking grabbing arms and pulling them appart. Though after that she wasn't sure what she would do, she had their arms, but not really what she would do with them. Maybe she could step on their foot or something. Or if she could pull them close, she could like hit them with her knee. If she had her weapon, she would fo just shot them in the face, but this was building around that not being an option.

"Would using something else to block it be better, it'd really hurt if your arm took the blow."
