And he makes another Sound blast!...which comes out as a 14 :/ Eh, I have hero points still! Reroll it! 9+12=21 plus a 10 since it was under 10...all of it comes up to a 31! Same toughness roll as before

Ari Posted September 22, 2012 Author Posted September 22, 2012 She finds a small hole in a low hedge where someone stepped through it, and following the slight indents in the soil leads to a circle of small trees, where she finds a smoking patch on the ground and burned footsteps all around it, charred streaks in the grass leading towards the river.

Do you mean that Manderley's scent-traces just stop unexpectedly, as if he'd teleported away? If so, then fine, teleportation. Sigh. Or do you mean that even the scent-traces he's already left, are no longer there for Jube's nose to pick up on? If so, that's rather more peculiar, and more worrisome to boot…

Quickness-plus-Take-20 means he's got a 'roll' of 29, and his Improvised Tools feat means no penalty in case some necessary tool isn't available.
