trollthumper Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 And the Watersinger ends up Bound. Silver Spider: 22, Unharmed, 0 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Unharmed, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Unharmed, 2 HP Deep One: 8, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Unharmed, 0 HP Wave-Eye is up next.
Ari Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) Using Speed to catch up to them, Wave-Eye Moves adjacent to the Depthshades. Readying the Conch, he SURGEs for another Move Action so he can conclude the Full-Action attack, then attacks them with the Damage Cone. Accurate Attacking(+2 Attack -2 Damage): 16, 22. He hits Depthshade #2 For a DC27 Toughness save, misses #1. He is now Fatigued. Edited August 9, 2013 by Arichamus
trollthumper Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 Depthshade 2 takes a Bruise. Silver Spider: 22, Unharmed, 0 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Unharmed, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Unharmed, 2 HP Deep One: 8, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Temperance takes a Move Action to try and catch up, and then a Standard Action to unleash a Blast on Depthshade 1. It just hits, so that's a DC23 TOU. And the Depthshade makes it. The Deep One attempts to unleash a Blast of boiling water at Wave-Eye. He hits, necessitating a DC23 TOU save. Depthshade 1 moves towards the group and drops the Targeted Area Shapeable Snare. And fails. Depthshade 2, meanwhile, focuses on smashing things. Silver Spider is up next.
Ari Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Wave-Eye's blood-thickened scales attempt to repel this mighty invasion, bulwarking that hissing tide with a 16!? His spirits are crushed, he has been vanquished utterly! He is down with a Bruise and a Dazed condition! Oh folly!
Azuth65 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Question, being bound and helpless, shouldn't the DO be unable to attack? Also, since he's currently locked down pretty well, SS has the opportunity for a coup de grace (DC 27 toughness).
trollthumper Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Fair point, Az. A Hero Point for all! Silver Spider: 22, Unharmed, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, Dazed (Deep One's Action), 3 HP Temperance: 13, Unharmed, 3 HP Deep One: 8, Unharmed, Bound, 0 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Silver Spider is up next.
trollthumper Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 Anyway, after that slight delay, the Deep One goes down. Silver Spider: 22, Unharmed, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, Dazed (Deep One's Action), 3 HP Temperance: 13, Unharmed, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Wave-Eye is up next, if he can shake off his Dazed.
Ari Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 (edited) I thought Dazes stuck around for one round then were removed automatically unless reinstated? EDIT: As in, they can't be removed with a check, unless they can and I had no idea. EDIT 2: And I just realized you can use Hero Points to remove such Conditions. Duh. Doing so, he now has 2HP left. Move Action: Run over to Depthshade #1 who wacked him. He has forgotten it wasn't because of the Depthshade, because being hit in the head does things to you when you're old. Standard Action: Power Attack(-3 Attack, +3 Damage): 9. A miss. Edited September 3, 2013 by Arichamus
trollthumper Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Gah. Long delay. I apologize deeply. Silver Spider: 22, Unharmed, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Unharmed, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Temperance unleashes a Blast on Depthshade 2. It goes wild. Depthshade 1 shifts to Enhanced Strength and takes a swing at Temperance. That hits, necessitating a DC23 Toughness save. Bruised. Silver Spider: 22, Unharmed, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Depthshade 2 attempts to strike at Silver Spider, and hits. DC23 TOU save. Silver Spider is up next.
Azuth65 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) 1d20+9=18, bruised and dazed. IC soon Edited September 19, 2013 by Azuth65
trollthumper Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Got it. Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, Dazed (Depthshade 2's Action), 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Unharmed, 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Wave-Eye is up next.
Ari Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Still next to the Depthshade, so trying to attack it again. Power Attack(-4 Attack, +4 Damage): 19! A hit for a DC26 Toughness save.
trollthumper Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, Dazed (Depthshade 2's Action), 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Bruised x1, Dazed (Wave-Eye's Action), 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x1, 0 HP Temperance is up next, and she unleashes her Autofire Blast on Depthshade 2. And there's a +4 from Autofire, meaning a DC27 TOU save. It takes another Bruise. Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, Dazed (Depthshade 2's Action), 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Bruised x1, Dazed (Wave-Eye's Action), 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x2, 0 HP Depthshade 2 takes a swing at Temperance. And goes wild. Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Bruised x1, Dazed (Wave-Eye's Action), 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x2, 0 HP Silver Spider is up next. IC post tomorrow.
Azuth65 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Gonna take a swing at Depthshade 2, 1d20+11=26.
trollthumper Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 Oh, yeah, that'll hit. It is Bruised and Dazed. Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 2 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Bruised x1, Dazed (Wave-Eye's Action), 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x3, Dazed (Silver Spider's Action), 0 HP Wave-Eye is up next.
Ari Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) Well then, since somebody is too hoity-toity to accept a proffered conch, Wave-Eye will grab the nearby Depthshade with Accurate Attack(+2 Attack, -2 DC): 11. That misses, so rerolling (1HP left): 10. +10 from the Hero Point. That hits for a DC33 check to resist the Grapple, and a DC21 Toughness save. Moving over to the second Dazed Depthshade, SURGing for another Standard Action to try and grab this one too! Same Accurate Attack as before: 29, hits! DC30 opposed Grapple check, and another DC21 Toughness save. Wave-Eye is now Bruised and Fatigued. Edited November 9, 2013 by Arichamus
trollthumper Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Depthshade 1 breaks the grapple, but is Dazed and Staggered. Depthshade 2 breaks the Grapple, but is Bruised and Dazed. Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 1 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 1: 6, Bruised x1, Dazed (Wave-Eye's Action), Staggered 0 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x4, Dazed (Silver Spider's Action), 0 HP Temperance unleashes a Blast on Depthshade 2. A miss, so Hero Point. Well, that's a 23, at least, so that's a +2 from Autofire for a DC25 TOU save. The Daze refreshes and the Depthshade is Staggered, so Temperance SURGES for another attack on Depthshade 1. It hits for a +1 from Autofire, meaning a DC24 TOU save. And he's out. Silver Spider: 22, Bruised x1, 1 HP Wave-Eye: 15, Bruised x1, 1 HP Temperance: 13, Bruised x1, 3 HP Depthshade 2: 3, Bruised x4, Dazed (Temperance's Action), Staggered, 0 HP Silver Spider is up next.
Azuth65 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Um, crap, missed the alert on this... Silver will take a poke at the last Depthshade 1d20+9=10 ...Nopenopenopenope, gonna burn that last HP. 1d20+9=12 +10 for the HP is 22. If that hits, DC 26 toughness from the staggered jerk.
trollthumper Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 And down he goes. We are out of rounds.
Ari Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Using the Conch device, switching to the Move Object(water) part of the Array, and using that to contain the seawater coming in through the broken shield.
