Avenger Assembled Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 The Mad Maple goes on nine; Weather Mistress goes on ten His sheet's pretty terrible. We'll call this a straight-up Blast 8, ATK 12, no power attacking. 32 Well, darn! Ah well, there'll be other attacks to bat later. DC 28 Tou save.
Electra Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Ouch, good thing Wander went through the door first. She takes a bruise, and is fairly pissed. And she goes on 17.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 Wander: 17 Weather Mistress: 10 Mad Maple: 9 Officers: 5 each Wander is up. I'll say the melee makes enough noise, and the officers call out on their radios, that people can hear it outside the building.
Fox Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Tagging this thread so that I don't forget about it later.....
Electra Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Free Action: Call Steve to circle the building and intercept Lady Underpants, tell the policemen to get back out of the room. Move Action: Acrobatic Bluff, DC 27 to resist Standard Action: Power Attack with bat. It's a 14, yuck.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 He can't beat that! That hits by 1, so no Autofire bonus. But! 23 He rolled well, but he's in bad trouble without his costume: he's bruised and dazed.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 Weather Mistress runs 30 feet into the back of the apartment, grabs her gear and puts it on. Mad Maple: He backs up and tries for another blast. 14 That's a miss, but I'll say Wander can let that hit her and use the Reflective if necessary. Harrier goes on 24 next round. Go ahead and roll initiative, Fox
Avenger Assembled Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 Harrier: 24 Wander: 17 Dragonfly: 14 Weather Mistress: 10 Mad Maple: 9 Police: 5 You can go ahead and write the use of your Reflective, Electra.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 20 And the Mad Maple is bruised again.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 Harrier takes a full-round action to hide, use his Concealment and pop his costume, and fly up to the third floor. Wander will be up as soon as I post IC.
Electra Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Intimidate check, skill mastery 21, hoping for a circumstance bonus since she just turned his own weapon against him. :D
Avenger Assembled Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 19 He fails and is intimidated enough to do what Wander says. Dragonfly is up.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 Weather Mistress flies back into the room and sees what's going on. She fires a lightning bolt at Wander! 24 It hits! But is bounced by Wander's Reflective Impervious. She's immune to her own powers, though. Mad Maple takes a full-round action and succeeds in talking his girlfriend down.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 Go ahead and give me a Disable Device check, Fox.
Fox Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Disable Device check (1d20 + 15=32) I am okay with this roll!
Avenger Assembled Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 That'll work! Whatever Mara is doing is solving the problem; she's making definite progress, and should have this situation handled in an hour or two. As long as nothing baaaad happens...
Avenger Assembled Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 21 Firebug: 22 Of course he does. I'll use the stats for Coppertop above with ATK and DEF adjusted to +12 to make him a PL 12 NPC.
Avenger Assembled Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 Firebug fires a blast to keep the cops' heads down, and succeeds! He continues to advance on the building, and is about 100 feet away from it. Caradoc lands and tries to intimidate him. vs 30...32 Doh! Must be holding back. Wander is up as soon as I post IC.
Electra Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Erin is using Interpose to block the fire from the building so it doesn't get all on fire. She wastes a nat 20 on soaking it! She's going to use her move action to do an acrobatic bluff, then charge him and attempt a Stunning attack with the bat. I'm assuming that there's both a clear path for the charge and for the knockback, given that Freedom Citizens have enough experience and street savvy to get the hell out of the way when fireballs start flying. Acrobluff is the usual DC 27 Charging stunning attack is a 29.
Avenger Assembled Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 Sense Motive: 33 Ow! So he's not flat-footed. The autofire still exceeds his defense by 5, so that's +2 to the DC Fort vs. DC 24 16 All right! So he is actually stunned.
Avenger Assembled Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Firebug is stunned and does nothing. hah-hah! Harrier enters into melee. He All-Out Power Attacks the flat-footed Firebug and hits him! He hits him massively, too; that's a DC 32 + 5 Autofire =DC 37 Tou save. 16 He's out, sportsfans!
Avenger Assembled Posted October 3, 2012 Author Posted October 3, 2012 Disable Device check, Fox! DC 25!
Fox Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Disable Device Check, DC25 (1d20 + 15=16) And then they all died! The end. ...yeah, no. I'mma go ahead and reroll that, which she's incapable of failing. But for funsies: Disable Device Check REROLL, DC25 (1d20 + 15=19) +10= 29.
