trollthumper Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 All right, for the Tripod, we'll be using AA's Kaiju build, with the following modifers: -TOU +20 comes solely from Protection, as the thing has no CON score and Immunity (Fortitude effects). -It also has Blast 12 (Extras: Area Cone). Tripod goes on 9. Nick goes on 9.

PurpleProse Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Danni is going to Snare the thing from behind. Move action to get up in the air, standard attack to launch a Snare at it. Attack Roll 1d20+5=24 If we're using the Kaiju stats, it's a hit. Snare is a DC 24 Reflex, and has Toughness +14.

That hits on a 17 even before the -2 to DEF from Entangled, so it needs to make a DC27 Toughness save. It resists. The Tripod then unleashes an Area Cone Blast on Nocturne, Nick, and Equinox. DC22 Reflex to halve, DC27 Toughness to resist. Nick makes his Reflex save, is Bruised and Dazed. Nocturne: 20, Unharmed, 2 HP Nick Cimitiere: 9, Bruised x1, Dazed (Tripod's Action), 4 HP Tripod: 9, Unharmed, Entangled, 0 HP Equinox: 8, Unharmed, 4 HP Equinox is up next.

Standard Action: Roll to hit and to grapple using Telekinesis (1d20+11=28, 1d20+14=33) Move Action: Attempt to throw the machine directly upwards. I'm not sure how much it weighs, though, but her heavy load is 1600 tons.

One of the problems of behemoths is they often have Grapple bonuses out the wazoo. That's a 29 on a DC16, so... +6 from Autofire, for a total TOU save of 33. Which the Tripod makes. The Tripod is Dazed, so Equinox is up next.

Power Attack it for 5, lowering her Attack to +6 and upping the Trip's rank to 20. Roll to hit with the Trip vs Alien tripod, roll to trip the tripod [opposed roll vs Dexterity] (1d20+6=17, 1d20+20=21) Spend a HP to re-roll that damned 1. Down to 3HP (1d20+20=38)
