Ari Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Initiatives. I'm really sorry guys. Arnold: 20. The Dis-Possessed(x3): 18, 7, 19.
Quinn Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Initiative! (1d20+8=25) and the batman hasss...the initative
Ari Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Alright, round one: Crow: Unharmed, 2HP Arnold: unharmed-GM Dis-Possessed #3: Unharmed-GM Dis-Possessed #1: Unharmed-GM Changeling: Unharmed, 1HP Dis-Possessed #2: Unharmed-GM Crow is up.
Quinn Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Okay, Crow's going to do his usual Thang involving baddos and enclosed spaces. Port down, and fog out. Obscure 6 (Rune of Blindness) (250 ft., Visual, Extras: Selective, Independent; Flaws: Limited [Normal Vision]) [7 pp] One HP burned to stunt. Then Turnabout back up to the roof. If Mr. Simmons could make some speakity-speak to draw them in, that would be luv'ly. ;)
Ari Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 So he shall. Flying up onto the roof and making a Bluff roll to Trick the Dis-Possessed to charge in at them: 7. Huh. Well, their Sense Motive rolls: 2, 18, 9. One fails it, and goes barging in. The other two hang back.
Aoiroo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 So where is everyone at the moment? Also, are the Depossessed immune to magic?
Ari Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 Crow and Arnold are on the roof of the church, Dis-Possessed #1 is at the doorstep of said church and in the fog, the other two hanging back in the street. Yes, quite immune to magic right now. That of course could be fixed with research of what the protection is.
Aoiroo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Can Changeling's magical supersense see anything about the protection?
Ari Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 Yes. It looks like a kind of semi-translucent beetle shell covering their bodies. The thickest part of the shell goes from their head to the heart, and they are attached by chains through the left hand to each other.
Aoiroo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Can I make an Arcane Lore roll for her to figure out more about it, or how to break it?
Aoiroo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 20, so no, Does that tell her anything about it though?
Ari Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 It's definitely demonic. And so powerfully charged that only the right kind of blow could possibly shatter it, but what it would take and how it's working is for the moment pretty opaque.
Aoiroo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Gonna make a sense motive roll as opposed to the Dis-possessed Bluff to make an assessment of their attack and defense as opposed to Changeling's. 29.
Ari Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 Their Bluff: 22. Their Attack is higher, but their Defense is lower.
Aoiroo Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Etain attacks, she shifts by four to increase her DC with her sword to 23, 12, misses.
Ari Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 QWAIgH":TqWTG. Apologies, forgot to mention that #3 and #1 the Possessed go before Changeling. This will not happen again. #3: Hangs back, Moving a few steps back and readying the first half of a Full-Round fireball. #1 goes charging at what it can tell is there, going by where it thinks Changeling's breathing is coming from. Attack roll: 30. Roll against Concealment: 1. Whiff. Changeling is up proper, and does her thing above I am presuming.
Ari Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 #2 moves next to and Prepares to Aid #3's attack next round. Round 2: Crow: Unharmed, 1HP Arnold: Unharmed-GM Dis-Possessed#3: Unharmed-GM Dis-Possessed#1: Unharmed-GM Changeling: Unharmed-GM Dis-Possessed#2: Unharmed-GM Crow is up.
Quinn Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Crow'll be in like Flynn as soon as the fireball mooks are out cold. We'll have no burninating of churches here, Miss Collateral Damage! (*whistles innocently*) Okay, so they're Minions - port in, Take 10 for +9, All Out Attack for +5 Attack and -5 Defense, then Power Attack for +5 Damage and -5 Attack. 19 would hit both, and with the Power Attack that's DC 24. Takedown Attack 2 does come into play, and Crow'll burn an HP for an extra Standard Action to finish the job if one or both of them don't go down. :)
Ari Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 DC24 Toughness saves for Dis-Possessed #2 and #3: 18, 27. Second DC24 Toughness save: 19. Both down. Arnold goes next, flying onto the road and preparing to carry the bodies inside the church. Dis-Possessed #1 tries to take a swing at Changeling again: 16, miss. Take it away, Aoiroo!
Aoiroo Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Taking ten on a shifted by 4 sword attack which is 20, so DC 23 to minion.
Ari Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 DC23 Toughness save: 16. Down. Out of rounds.
Ari Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 Arnold will now bring the pair inside, and set up a Ritual to try and perform some Nullify justice on their demonic Container. Jury-rigging the Ritual, so DC15+Immunity 15(Damage(Magical), Magical Effects(Limited: Targeted only)), DC30 Knowledge(Arcane Lore) roll: 27. Close, but not enough.
