TheAbsurdist Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 The building was a house, comparable to any other house in this stretch of Port Regal. It was a great place to hide, truth be told, because it was so average. Though it was Victorian style, and had lovely bay windows. Though Elias found it odd that he noted that, but he wasn't in a position to keep pondering that. As they stepped into the building, he led, despite being the obvious physical weaker of the two, but the fact was he was pretty good at feeling things out. And once inside, and giving enough space for Marcus to enter. He closed the door after them, and glanced about. "One moment." And he closed his eyes, and he pushed out with his telehaptic sense. Shutting out other possible distractions as he felt around for anything out of the ordinary, mostly just other people. As he doubted he could find any booby traps that were laid.
GranspearZX Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 All he could do was wait. That was fine, really, though Marcus really wasn't always the patient type. At least in this instance, he knew he didn't have much choice; they had just walked into what was ostensibly someone else's home. Though he didn't go further inside than necessary, he did wonder about the fact that getting in was relatively easy. He didn't feel secure at all, and he visibly tensed, resisting the urge to shift forms again. He realized just how vulnerable he felt without his bear senses to fall back on. The best he could do was stay on his guard, edging forward a little bit as Elias concentrated on the task at hand.
TheAbsurdist Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Elias was still being cautious himself, picking his way through what looked like a upper-middle class townhouse affair. Something that belonged to a successful, young professional, not necessarily a mercenary for hire. "Would you mind sniffing about or anything here out of the ordinary, she had explosives on her belt, so she is versed using them. And I can't differentiate those sort of masses from others." Glancing to Marcus as he shifted, and moved abount frankly really nicely appointed living room. Idly picking through what was there, trying to find something.
