Willis Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Will that modifier make it so nobody can lift it or just that they can't make it work?

Dr Archeville Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 It'd make it so nobody but you (or the wearer of the T.H.O.R. armor) can use it, and only a limited group can even lift it. Who/what that group is would be up to you, based on descriptors.

Willis Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Is there a way to buy more points into penetrating than you have in the attack power itself? For instance, could I buy strike 5 (penetrating 8)?

Dr Archeville Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Unknown. Personally, I'd say no, but there is pseudo-precedent for allowing it: Jack-A-Knives, the Murder Spirit of Freedom City, has Strike 2 (Penetrating 18, Mighty). The book does not say if this means the host gains Strike 2 (Mighty) with Penetrating equal to the total damage rank (up to 18), or if it means it grants the host Strike 2 (Mighty) and the full Penetrating 18. I've asked Kenson at the ATT, here. Hopefully he'll answer somewhat soon.
