KnightDisciple Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Since you're Surging, instead of awarding an HP, I'll just say you don't have to worry about Fatigued next round. Skips the middleman, as it were. Go ahead and narrate the Laser Cannon being wrecked. It won't blow up, though some of the VES's on it are going to implode (sound like a large firecracker going off), and sparks will fly. The assembly system itself is basically untouched.
KnightDisciple Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Uninjured, 5HP Empousa (25): Uninjured, -HP Arachne (25): Uninjured, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 4HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 1HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 4HP So, Empousa's up first. She...well, neither group can see her yet. She's not blowing anything up or tearing anything down. We'll skip her. Arachne doesn't like that Dragonfly's not playing nice! Move Action: Manuever behind Dragonfly, but not right behind her (aka Move Action required to get into Melee distance) Standard Action: Mind Blast! 23 is just enough. DC 25 Toughness Save, Psionic Descriptor if that matters. Next up is Hekatoncheire. He's gonna follow orders! Move Action: Get up in Fenris's grill. Standard Action: ALL THE FISTS (aka Melee Attack) 26. That beats Fenris's Defense by 6, so +3 to his Damage, so...DC 23 Toughness Save. Fenris Toughness Save: 14. I would really rather not get Dazed and Bruised when this guy can keep piling it on. HP Reroll, and my minimum result is 24, so Saved. Bee-Keeper is up; Give me a moment to make IC GM post.
Fox Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 It does matter, as it so happens! Immunity 10 (Mental Effects, Flaws: Limited [1/2 Effect]) [5PP] This should read 'Psionic', mind; she hasn't had edits since that house rule was put into place. DC25 Tou means a rank 10 attack; half of that drops it down to 4, for a DC20 save. Toughness Save vs. Arachne's Psionic Blast, DC20 (DC25, 1/2 Psionic Immunity) (1d20 + 9=23)
SpicyWaffle Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Hum. After some thought, I think Bee-Keeper'll wait for Ironclad's input on the situation. He'll ready a Move Action to chase her via his Flight 5 if she wants him to go after her, and a Standard Action to hit the truck with his Blast 10 should Jessica instead go after the Not!Major.
KnightDisciple Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Kobalos will do...things.... Fenris up. He's going to Teleport up to the second level of the lab, giving him a clean shot on Hek without risking his own neck too much. Move Action: Teleport. Standard Action: PPC Ranged Attack. 19, which misses by a country mile. Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Uninjured, 6HP Empousa (25): Uninjured, -HP Arachne (25): Uninjured, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 4HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 0HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 4HP Ironclad is up!
Raveled Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Ironclad Free Action: Switch Weapon Array to Servos. Full Action: Flip the car and rip up the track.
KnightDisciple Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Uninjured, 6HP Empousa (25): Uninjured, -HP Arachne (25): Uninjured, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 5HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 0HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 5HP Added in HP for BK and IC. As soon as SW posts his held action, it's back to the top of the order with DF!
Fox Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 You know what psychics in melee range get? A fist full of lightning! Melee Attack Roll vs. Arachne (taser hand) (1d20 + 11=16) ...or, y'know, not. Fortunately, Dragonfly's rolling in HP. And cold, cold anger. Melee Attack REROLL vs. Arachne (taser hand) (1d20 + 11=28) That's better. DC21 Fort vs. Stun. -1 HP for Dragonfly.
SpicyWaffle Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Bee-Keeper's gonna chase, chase, chase the Not!Major down the ominous underground tunnel!~
KnightDisciple Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 If he be chasin', he ain't gettin' an HP! Which is fine, he's still got plenty. Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Uninjured, 6HP Empousa (25): Uninjured, -HP Arachne (25): Uninjured, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 4HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 0HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 5HP Empousa is up. Let's see... Move Action: Move into the room with the rest. Standard Action: Ready a Melee Attack against the next person to come into the room! Arachne: Free Action: Taunt Dragonfly, order Hekatoncheire to attack her. Move Action: Hover up into the air in the middle of the lab space and face Fenris Standard Action: Ranged Attack! 26 definitely hits. DC 25 Toughness Save Fenris gets...28! No-sell! Hekatoncheire: Move Action: Get into Melee Range with Dragonfly Standard Action: Melee Attack with so many hands at once! 30, which exceeds 23 by 7, which gives him +3 Autofire damage. So that's a DC....23 Toughness save vs FISTS OF FURY. As Bee-Keeper moved with a readied action, it is now his full turn! :geek: EDIT: I will say BK3 can get into the other room with his next move action (high speed is a little risky in small tunnels!), and thus still have a standard action to blast zzome foolzz.
KnightDisciple Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Triggered melee attack: 12. Swing and a miss! :?
SpicyWaffle Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Here're Bee-Keeper III's rolls if the Not!Major is ambushing him via an attack of some kind: Toughness Save +11 vs. DC??: 1d20+11 → [17,11] = (28) Provided he survived that (or if Not!Major even attacks), he'll continue on: Move Action: Move until he's in melee range of Not!Major. Standard Action: Strike 10 +11 vs. Not!Major: 1d20+11 → [1,11] = (12) --Spending 1HP (3 Remaining now) to re-roll: 1d20+11 → [3,11] = (14), Minimum 10 for 21. Free Action if Hit: Grapple Check +24 vs. Not!Major = 1d20+24 → [2,24] = (26); Blurgh...
KnightDisciple Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 That does hit! Defense 20 on this lady. 36 means no Grapple. Strike Toughness Save: 20! On a DC 26. So...Dazed&Bruised (I assume True Juzztizze isn't yet in the cards!). EDIT: Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Uninjured, 6HP Empousa (25): Dazed (Bee-Keeper's Action), Bruizedx1, -HP Arachne (25): Uninjured, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 3HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 0HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 5HP Kobalos shall be posted soon...
Fox Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Toughness Save vs. So Many Fists (1d20 + 9=18) It is too early to be dazed, Dragonfly! Toughness Save REROLL vs. So Many Fists (1d20 + 9=10) :| +10 from the reroll is 20, at least; Dragonfly picks up a bruise, and loses 1 HP.
KnightDisciple Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Bruised x1, 5HP Empousa (25): Dazed (Bee-Keeper's Action), Bruizedx1, -HP Arachne (25): Uninjured, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 3HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 0HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 5HP Kobalos goes. Ironclad gets 1 HP for not seeing this coming: Move Action: Get to the point right behind Ironclad, undetected. Standard Action: Punch! 30. So that's a DC 30 Toughness Save! Fenris's go. Standard Action: PPCs vs Arachne. 23 hits. Arachne DC 25 Toughness Save: 15. Um. Since she's a Fort-immune Construct, that's automatically Lethal. So she's now Disabled and Dazed (Fenris's Action). Initiative Order Dragonfly (25): Bruised x1, 5HP Empousa (25): Dazed (Bee-Keeper's Action), Bruizedx1, -HP Arachne (25): Disabled and Dazed, -HP Hekatoncheire (21): Uninjured, -HP Bee-Keeper (13): Uninjured, 3HP Kobalos (6): Uninjured, -HP Fenris (5): Uninjured, 0HP Ironclad (4): Uninjured, 5HP
Raveled Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Ironclad's Toughness save, vs DC 30. (1d20+17=22) That's not acceptable, Ironclad. Ironclad's Toughness save, vs DC 30. Reroll (1d20+17=20) Ironclad, it it weren't for the reroll bonus, you would be sitting in the corner.
Raveled Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Ironclad Standard Action: PAWNCH! Ironclad's melee attack, vs Kobalos's Def. DC 27 Tou (1d20+12=13) ... And another reroll! Ironclad's melee attack, vs Kobalos's Def. DC 27 Tou. Reroll (1d20+12=29) Now that's more like it.

Fox Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Move action: Fly! Standard action: Attack Hekatoncheire, because he's a jerk. Ranged Attack vs. Hekatoncheire (blast) (1d20 + 11=28) DC26 Toughness save.
