GranspearZX Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Crusader's Initiative: 1d20+7=27 Every single one of them is, of course, flat-footed since the two of them caught the group unaware. Riveter: 1d20+2=5 Thugs [4]: 1d20=6 Well, that works out: Crusader :: 27 -- Unharmed Bloody Mess :: 23 -- Unharmed Thugs [4] :: 6 -- Unharmed Riveter :: 5 -- Unharmed Crusader immediately hurls his shield down into the garage. 1d20+10=15 --not finished here yet; need to ask questions first! --
GranspearZX Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 Crusader sends his shield flying, not at anyone in particular... but the jack holding up the vehicle Riveter's working on. Attack Roll (ranged): (1d20+10=20) (I know I rolled earlier but it seemed fair to just roll again since... y'know, hiatus!) And it drops on him, effectively leaving him Pinned. Mess is up!
Supercape Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 So, lets see if Mess can take out the trash.MOve action: Leaping. Which should be enough given Leaping 6 as it is boosted to reach the thugs I guess.Standard Action: Take 10 to attack the thug minions. Shifting attack -4 attack, +4 DC for an attack roll of 16 which I guess will hit them flat footed. Its a DC 29 Toughness save which I really hope they cant make, and Takedown attack which I hope will knock em all out!
GranspearZX Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) Definitely enough to close the distance, and: #!: TOU Check (DC29): (1d20+10=26) #2: TOU Check (DC29): (1d20+10=22) #3: TOU Check (DC29): (1d20+10=27) #4: TOU Check (DC29): (1d20+10=28) None of them quite make it. Edited October 21, 2013 by GranspearZX
GranspearZX Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Riveter was prone, and spends this round getting up. Crusader tries to ram the Riveter with his shield: Attack Roll: (1d20+8=9) And he just kind of... bounces off. x_x Mess is up next!
Supercape Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Ok its non-optimal tactics, but then, its Bloody Mess we are talking about. And anyway, Cool is always optimal. Picking up a car, which is well within light load parameters, and smacking the Riveter with it. 1d20+10=29 wowzer's! a good day! Whilst Im tempted to make that a crit cause I just hit him with a car it will probably end things to quickly. So lets go for a TOughness DC 25 Save, and yes, Ill make that knockback! if it dazes him.
GranspearZX Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 TOU check [DC25]: (1d20+10=21) VERY good day for Mess indeed! Not sure how KB works exactly; in the process of looking it up!
Supercape Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 If he scored 21 on his toughness save, only bruised! You need to get dazed to be knockbacked, so no probs! :)
GranspearZX Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Ah! Okay then. GM post forthcoming then
GranspearZX Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 So Riveter (after taking a bruise from a car to the face) retaliates by picking up a rather large pipe and taking a swing at Mess: Attack [Lead Pipe]:: 1d20+10 12 Which very likely won't even hit him. TOU Check, DC 12?
GranspearZX Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Yep, and since Crusader's up next, he's going to make use of Unbalancing Strike! Attack Roll (Unbalancing Strike): (1d20+8=21) vs. Riveter's Reflex save: REF save [DC 18]: (1d20+7=17) And he's stumbling all over himself and loses his dodge bonus. Mess is up next then; posting IC in the meanwhile!
Supercape Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 So Mess is going to take advantage of that and clobber him with lefty and righty this time! I'll shift that slightly, -2 attack, +2 DC 1d20+8=22 so I guess that hits for a DC 27 Toughness save
GranspearZX Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 TOU check [DC 27]: (1d20+10=17) So now he's Bruised x1, Staggered, and Stunned. Riveter is definitely seeing stars now. Crusader :: 27 -- Unharmed Bloody Mess :: 23 -- Unharmed Thugs [4] :: 6 -- Unconscious Riveter :: 5 -- Bruised, Staggered, Stunned Which means Crusader's up again!
Supercape Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted IC (although you may want a knockback check after the Mess pounded him! - or not, depending on what suits!)
GranspearZX Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Knockback check ends up being less than 5 feet, so now he's prone on top of everything else! (Incoming GM post!) Crusader's going to skip his turn entirely (as per his complication about not hitting downed opponents!) so... Edited December 15, 2013 by GranspearZX
GranspearZX Posted December 19, 2013 Author Posted December 19, 2013 Nah, not just yet... Unless you think we should?
Supercape Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 So Mess is going to grab some steel girder and try and bend it around the Riveter! 1D20+10 => 11 flunking the attack roll, so I guess we dont need to work out how to mimic that attack (I would have said use a snare attack!)
