Supercape Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 Hes been lusting after her for years! 1d20+10=25 Unfortunately, even with attractive... Could I have initiative roll from YB please!
Supercape Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Razzafrazin' yes! 1d20+10=20 although his initiative bonus is actually +8, Im giving him a +2 situational bonus for making the move on Agnes. 1d20=4 for Brains and Ticker. So that means: 23 - Roi (in the Wild Joker) - Unharmed - 2 HP 20 - Hatchet - Unharmed 18 - Agnes - Unharmed - 1 HP 4 - Brains and Ticker (Looking down the Alley) We shall Kick off with an Attack Roll from Hatchet. Basically, a grapple attack as a standard action, and a startle as move action 1d20+4=23 its a good startle, so oppose that with Will/Sense Motive/Intimidate. 1d20+8=21 and its a pretty good attack too, which I guess hits. 1d20+10=12 failed at the last hurdle on his grapple, but roll anyway!
Tiffany Korta Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Startle check 1d20+8=26, good start, that hit's so the grapple is 1d20+6=24. So she's fine.
Tiffany Korta Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Agnes will unleash her blinding flash that's a DC14 Reflex save for Hatchet et all. Then she's going to make towards what ever handy cover is available.
Supercape Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Would that not require a to hit roll? Hatchet will be flat footed for that, and you get +2 to hit, because he is suprised at a Dame firing beams of light!
Tiffany Korta Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Sorry I'm use to YB's bursts of light, here we go 1d20+4+2=11
Supercape Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Just hits (thanks to surprise). So: 1d20+4=11 He is dazzled. Brains and Ticker will respond, running back to where Hatchet and Agnes are. Roi can notice the voices / screams / light (whatever you fancy) at this point, and run out of the Wild Joker. Round 2 23 - Roi (in the Wild Joker) - Unharmed - 2 HP 20 - Hatchet - Dazzled 18 - Agnes - Unharmed - 1 HP 4 - Brains and Ticker (Looking down the Alley)
Ari Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Alright, Move Action to leave the Wild Joker's, Free Action to express bafflement, and Standard Action to use Emotion Control(Despair) on Brains and Ticker. DC16 Reflex save to keep from seeing it, DC16 Will save vs. Despair if they fail that.
Supercape Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 1d20=17, 1d20=10, 1d20=17, 1d20=11 for the saves. Brains makes it, Ticked is despaired (-2 on attack rolls, saving throws, checks). Hatchet is dazzled, so he really cant do anything right now. AGnes is up, and as she starts the round, Hatchet gets a fort check to throw of the dazzle: 1d20+6=16 Which he does.
Tiffany Korta Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Right Agnes is going to pull the revolover from her purse and fill Hatchet full of lead! Attack Roll 1d20+6=22, if that hit's it's a DC 19
Supercape Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 It does indeed! Pyow! Pyow! 1d20+2=12 Injured and Dazed (Unless you wildly object, as we are in noir-verse, bullets will do lethal damage!) Hatchet has a chance to save against dazzle: 1d20+6=11 and fails. Brains and Ticker will move to Agnes and try to disarm her: 1d20+2=7, 1d20+2=7 and fail! Round 3 23 - Roi - Unharmed - 2 HP 20 - Hatchet - Dazzled (+1 Save on 18), Dazed (until 18), Injured 18 - Agnes - Unharmed - 1 HP 4 - Brains and Ticker (Ticker despaired) Roi is up!
Ari Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 You forgot to adjust Roi's position from last round SC! Switching to the Confuse power in the Array, using it on Brains. Attack roll: 10. Which misses! He moves between Brains and Agnes.
Supercape Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Ok so Hatchet is once more incapacitated. This means Agnes is up, Hatchets Fort save to recover from Dazzled which is: 1d20+7=16 Technically this is at the end of the round, so Agnes can act whilst Hatchet is still dazzled (and thus flat footed)
Tiffany Korta Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Agnes will take another pop at Hatchet, if you didn't gather she has a thing for this guy . To hit roll 1d20+6=26, told yah I'm take the extra 5 damage for a DC of 24.
Supercape Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 Right, so Hatchet is flat footed, no toughness roll and injured. This aint going to go well - 1d20+1=9, fail by 15, which means he is dying! Combat over at this point, IC post coming up!
Supercape Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Ok so lets fudge this a bit: M&M does not allow for called shots to certain areas. And its pretty fuzzy on combat in vehicles. However, let that not stop Agnes! To hit a tyre is not easy: a DC 25 Ranged Attack. She can AIM giving a +4 Bonus to the attack. However, this gives a risk of being seen by the following vehicle (a 50% chance) in which case, she can still fire, but they can react (fire back). A hit will burst a tyre (I wont roll a toughness for that). Its a DC 20 Drive Roll to keep vehicle under control. Of course you may wish to try other tricks or tactics - feel free to do so and I will adjudicate accordingly / give bonuses.
Tiffany Korta Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Before she try's to shoot the tire's she'll try and blind the driver first. Try to hit him with a blinding light 1d20+4=14.
Supercape Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 That hits! Ill give the Driver a DC 20 Roll to keep the vehicle under control, and a drive skill of +4 1d20+4=6
Supercape Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 I suggest you guys cut to Agnes appartment and can I have Notice and Streetwise Rolls for this dark night!
Ari Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) Notice roll: 21. Streetwise roll: 14. He should probably get a severe penalty to that for being a new arrival and French. Edited June 25, 2013 by Arichamus
Supercape Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 Ok hit a bit of a stall here. I have things to throw at you, but Im gonna pause to see if there is anything proactive you guys would like to do?
Ari Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I don't actually know what they could do. That would be plot-relevant, that is. Maybe puzzle out how the police got on their case so fast?
Supercape Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 The options I think are: 1. Handsome Jack mystery? 2. Police involvement? 3. Who was Hatchet's boss? / why was Agnes lover murdered? 4. Who has the missing card of Rois deck? There may be others, but as I said, I am happy to throw stuff at you guys to propel this along, I just wanted to pause and see if you wanted to do anything!
