....Well, I decided to do a full power attack on the Battle Brother with 5 bruises then I rolled a 28 So, assuming that hits, well. That's a DC32 TOU save

Well, Malcom has been interposing for Jack, and as the feat says the decision to do so has to be made before the attack roll is made, he will just have to suck up that critical hit.  And he does not, as he gets a 13 on his Toughness save, meaning he is OUT!

To note what I've said in chat, Mali will be using move-by-action to get out of Jack's revenge range

Diaz loops through the waiting room to come out the door near the melee, coming up behind Fighter 7 and power attacking him (-2 atk/+2 dam), hitting with a 21, DC 21 toughness save for Fighter 7.

So, technically, we are back to the start of initiative, if Lucy (or anyone else) wants to try to pursue the Battle Brothers.
