Thevshi Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 As mentioned, that just barely misses. So, Round Six: Velocity: 63 (2 bruised, 1 HP) Mindfire: 21 (4 bruised, Staggered, Dazed) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Young Britannia: 4 (bruised, 3 HP) Velocity continues her attacks on Mindfire: a 26, not full autofire, but still makes it +11 damage. Mindfire has a DC 26 toughness save, she gets a: this time she only gets a 13, so she is Staggered and dazed.
Thevshi Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 Bonebreaker leaps after Velocity, and totally misses her with a 9. YB’s turn!
Tiffany Korta Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Well if that just misses what about 1d20+8=19 :D
Thevshi Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 A hit, but unfortunately, Bonebreaker has 10 ranks of Impervious Toughness to soak the blast up. Now, Round Seven: Velocity: 63 (2 bruised, 1 HP) Mindfire: 21 (4 bruised, Staggered) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Young Britannia: 4 (bruised, 3 HP) Velocity will target Bonebreaker for a change, using Power Attack -3 atk, +3 dam: 18, just enough to hit. DC 31 toughness save for Bonebreaker, he gets a:15, so he is unconscious. Mindfire will be choosing to run, so she gets one move action to start flying away. Back to YB!
Tiffany Korta Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Well in that case YB is going to have to do something she rarely does, go toe to toe with someone. I'll do a Power Attack for a +2 to damage (which only leave 3 for attack, maybe I' should do something about that ) 1d20+3=8 and as I expected I need a re-roll, a HP spent for 1d20+3=20. Much better that would be Toughness DC of 27.
Thevshi Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Mindfire gets an 11 on her toughness save, so she is out. YB can catch her as her wings disappear and she starts to fall.
