Merc 1 pulls a SMG out of a waterproof bag and shots at Tsunami, missing with an 11.

 

Merc 2 pulls out a pistol, shooting it at Warp, also missing with a 16.

 

The leader fires his speargun at Tsunami, hitting with a 28.

 

That is a DC 18 stun effect, Tsunami gets a 24 on her Fort save, so she is okay.

Round Two

 

Tsunami: 23 (unharmed, 3 HP)

Merc 1: 13

Merc 2: 12

Natas: 11 (bruised)

Merc 10: 10

Merc 11: 9

Warp:  8 (unharmed, 1 HP)

Merc 8: 6

Merc 9: 5

Merc 4: 3
 

Tsunami will continue to focus on the gunmen in the water, making an area attack on the four she was not able to catch in the first attack.  This time she will power attack -2 atk/+2 dam, def attack -3 atk/+3 def and take 10 (as they are all minions).  DC 25 toughness save for them. 

 

They all miss so are down as well.

Natas fires a spear at Warp this time, getting a 27, so Warp has a DC 18 Fort save to make.

 

Mercs 10 and 11 open fire on Tsunami:  24 and 22, one hit.


Tsunami’s toughness save (vs DC 18): 21, no problem.

Merc 9 takes a shot a Warp, but misses badly with a 14.  (I will wrap this in with my next post for Tsunami, as it would be a really short post).

Tsunami will make a direct attack with her standard blast on the leader now, using a Def attack -2 atk/+2 def.  She misses with a 10

Round Four

Tsunami will try to blast Natas once more, still with a defensive attack -2 atk/+2 def.  This time she hits with a 26.

 

Natas has a DC 25 toughness save, getting a: just enough with a 25.

Boo.  Tsunami will spend one of her hero points and stunt Interpose and take the hit instead.

 

Her toughness save is a: 27.


This means the mercs will shot at Warp instead, but, still miss.

Excellent! Warp will use her move action to dump Natas' speargun in her pocket dimension, and attack as a standard. 33 Hehe. That's a natural crit, so he needs to deal with a 27DC toughness save.

Tsunami is going to pick off Merc 10, using def attack: -5 atk/+5 def, taking 10 to hit him.  He does not make his toughness save and goes down.

Natas is going to attack Tsunami this time, hitting with a 29.  Once again a DC 19 toughness save, Tsunami gets a, ouch, 16, so she takes a bruise.

 

With both heroes in melee with his boss, Merc 11 runs up and tries to hit Warp, he gets a 21, not quite good enough.

Warp's gonna take ten with a +/-3 power attack for a 20 attack and a 25DC save on the minion, and if it takes him out she'll go after Natas because of takedown attack.
