All right, Fleur uses her ESP to determine where people are on the world. She can't make out a ship, but she's got a pretty good idea of where one might be hiding under a cloak. She's going to put in a quick call to the bees, and since they can fly at 250 miles an hour, they shouldn't take long to arrive for backup. She's also going to call up the planetary defenses and hold them ready.

She will also ready a surprise round attack using her Indirect Snare. If either of the bad-looking dudes makes a hostile move, she will snare the rocky-looking one and leave the snake for Tona to shoot. Because her attack is indirect 3, I think she can still preserve surprise even when she breaks cover and talks to the dudes.

Well then, let's do this thing. Snare first on the Rocky guy, hoping to catch him flat-footed from the surprise.

And that was an excellent roll, a 26.  If it catches, that is a DC 28 reflex save to avoid being entangled/bound.

At the same time, the planetary defenses, a straight unmodified blast capped at Fleur's PL, will target Rocky Guy.

That roll, on the other hand, was freaking horrible.  A 17. On the off-chance that it hits, DC 30 toughness.

Could've sworn I had them up here, but for the record. and

Demon's Reflex save, vs DC 28. Snare (1d20+5=12) Okay, he is completely immobilized and helpless. For the record the Blast would have hit anyway, this guy's Defense is atrocious.

Of course that means his Toughness is sky-high. Demon's Toughness save, vs DC 30. (1d20+14=23) Daze + Bruise.

I'll take this moment to have Tona shoot, as well. Tona's ranged attack, vs Snake Pirate's flat-footed Def. DC 20 Tou + Autofire (1d20+15=26) Thank god for flat-footed. Full autofire, so DC 25 Tou.

Snake Pirate's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+8=26) Well, damn,

Okay, Stesha's going to shove the trapped guy into her dimensional pocket before flagging down Beeatrizz. She will also ready an action to snare Valut if she tries to run, lest she get herself into trouble.

Fleur is going to teleport herself and Tona into the ship via the hydroponic garden. In the meantime, the planetary defense will be continuing to focus upon the ship, firing a Blast 15 lashing of woody thorns against it every round. The bees can be left to their own devices to distract and take potshots at the ship while not putting themselves in undue danger.

Blue Jay
Jay's going to open up by shooting arrows at the goldshirts. Unfortunately all the goldies have enough Impervious to shrug off a bog-standard arrow barrage. Whoopsie!

Gazer
Gazer is going to start by blasting Fleur. Gazer's ranged attack, vs Fleur's flat-footed Def. DC 20 Tou (1d20+15=31) ... I think that would hit even her full Defense.

Fleur is going to use her move action to step behind the nearest decent cover.

Standard action to summon her tree minions, which will become active next round.

There are five of them, and they all use this sheet:

Spend an HP to surge, drop a handful of seeds into the closest dataport and transform them into big trees.

Goldies will spend their turn getting up the rest of the way.

Blue Jay

So Blue Jay will be using Ranged Disarm on Gazer.

Blue Jay's ranged Disarm attack, vs Gazer's Def. (1d20+15=19) ... Well that was horrid. Rerolling.

Blue Jay's ranged Disarm attack, vs Gazer's Def. Reroll (1d20+15=32) MUCH better. So with Autofire that's a DC 25 Str check, which Gazer cannot make, so he loses his little ray gun.

Gazer

Good thing he's got that Transform, ehn? He has to make eye contact with Jay for it to work, so she gets a DC 20 Reflex save and a DC 20 Fort save.

Blue Jay's Reflex save, vs DC 20. (1d20+12=28) Good thing she has a tricked-out Reflex save!

Standard Action: Spending another HP to stunt: Snare 15 (Extra: Area [shapeable], Flaw: Distracting) {30/44]

Reflex save vs DC 25 from the pack of minions.

Blue Jay

For lack of anything better, Jay will simply attack Gazer. Blue Jay's ranged attack, vs Gazer's Def. DC 20 + Autofire Tou (1d20+15=30) That gives the full +5 DC, so DC 25 Tou.

Gazer's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+10=29) Fiddle you too, Gazer! :argh:

Gazer

Will try to petrify Fleur this time. Except she has tree minions, so they Interpose! Gazer's ranged attack check vs. Tree's Def. DC 20 Ref & Fort. (1d20+9=28) Tempted to stunt Improved Crit and make all those rolls DC 25, but there's no point. One tree man needs to make a DC 20 Ref save to look away, and if he fails a DC 20 Fort save or be petrified.

Posted

All right, Fleur's going to try the old Stun Flower on Gazer, see if that can put him down.

Ha, that was a terrible attack roll. Spending an HP!

And it still completely failed. Boooo. This bastard has lucky dice.

Move action to order two of the trees to interpose for her and Blue Jay.
