Thevshi
Yep, recognized that as just general banter Okay, Neospell is up. Link to comment
ChrisClark13
Okay, taking 10 for 20 to shoot at Gang Member 2 to take him out of the fight so he doesn't get all mauled up. DC 25 Toughness Link to comment
Thevshi
Wow, he gets a natural [url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3977655/]20[/url[, so only takes a bruise. Make your IC post. Link to comment
ChrisClark13
Neospell uses Extra Effort to Surge to Charge Red Lion 2 with his MagiBlade. (whew) He stops 5' away as the Charge rules say he attacks as soon as he is in striking distance, and the MagiBlade has 10' reach. Also, +2 Attack, -2 Defense for until next round, and he becomes Fatigued next round. And the roll comes up as a 27! Furthering my suspicions that Invisible Castle only likes you when you use a Hero Point and now apparently Extra Effort. Link to comment
Thevshi
CC, I am not sure you can surge and get to charge, but, seeing as you did not yet use your move action, I will just go with that. Though, you might want to be sure next time that you have an unobstructed path to the target (and you do here). Also, your fatigue is there until you spend a hero point to remove it, which could be now, or much later. Anyway, he only gets a 14. So Red Lion 2 is Staggared and dazed, and you knock him into Gang Member 2, causing both to have to make toughness saves. Red Lion 2 gets a 16 on the second, giving him a bruise as well. Gang Member 2 goes unconcious. Both are lying in a heap now. Go ahead with your IC post. (and don't forget your first attack that Gang Member 2 pretty much sucked up) Link to comment
Thevshi
Red Lion 1 attacks Jube, missing with a 12. Gang Member 5 continues to struggle against his bindings, the snare gets a 23 on its toughness save and resists his attempts. Link to comment
ChrisClark13
Yay Fatigue, but that shouldn't stop Neospell from landing a finishing blow. Fatigued, so -2 STR, -2 DEX. On top of that -1 attack and defense So total that's -1 Damage on the MagiBlade, -1 Reflex, -1, Attack -1 Defense, -1 STR and DEX skils... Rolled a 17 to knock that pussy back on his butt DC 26 Toughness save. Edited March 18, 2013 by ChrisClark13 Link to comment
Thevshi
I will get to that when your up Round Seven: Jubatus (bruised, injured 1 HP) Neospell: 24 (unharmed, 1 HP) Red Lion 1: 22 Red Lion 2: 13 (Staggered, bruised, dazed) Gang Member 5: 11 (entangled) Cartel 3: 2 (bound & helpless) Jube is up Link to comment
Cubist
Jube is going to pull Dazzle out of his Gadgets and use it on Red Lion 1, the fluff being "give RL1 a face-full of foam from a hand-held fire extinguisher". This is Dazzle (visual) with the Range flaw, since fire extinguishers in general (hand-held ones in particular) tend to work well at close distances. So it's Dazzle (visual) 5 (flaw: Range), Jube's Attack roll for Dazzle (1d20+12=24) definitely exceeds the magic number of 17 which he failed to roll last round! Yay Jube! Link to comment
Thevshi
Unfortunately he makes his Reflex save with a 20. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, CC, Red Lion 2 only gets a 14, so he is now unconcious. Go ahead with your IC post. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, Red Lion 1 attack Jube again, but, misses with a 17. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, depending on what you two want to do, we may be out of combat now, or maybe not. If either of you want to use a free action out of turn to talk (briefly), go right ahead. Link to comment
Cubist
Jubatus isn't one to leave loose ends if he can help it, so he's gonna tell Neospell the job isn't done, then chase cat-boy and take him down with a Mighty Strike 4. Jube's Attack roll (1d20+12=24) definitely hits, so cat-boy needs to make a Toughness save vs DC 24. Link to comment
Thevshi
You easily catch him (only speed 2), but his luck holds out. A 26 on his toughness save. Link to comment
ChrisClark13
Just looking around with a Notice check to make sure nothing's lurking anywhere and to check out the current scene. Taking 10 for a total of 20. Link to comment
Thevshi
Everything is pretty calm at the scene of the fight. There is still that one gang member who is struggling against the duct tape. Given time, he might get free. Also, there are at least two gang members who are bleeding out. Link to comment
Thevshi
CC, sorry I was not a bit more clear. The gang member in the duct tape is not completely helpless, and in fact, still has his pistol in his hand and can use it. (he was only entangled). So, you will probably want to change how you approach him. If you would like to try to make an intimidate roll to get him to give up and talk, go ahead and make one, I'll give you a +5 circumstance bonus to the check. Link to comment
ChrisClark13
Okay, got an 18, hope that works. Link to comment
Thevshi
Yeah, he does not do well on his intemidate check to counter, only getting a 7. Go ahead and edit your post and I'll will respond (as well as have the cat-man react to Jube's attack) Link to comment
Cubist
It's also worth noting that Jube blurred off in seek of the final cat-boy without waiting for Neospell to respond to Jube's words. Link to comment
ChrisClark13
Yay the weekend is over. Editted post. Link to comment
Thevshi
CC, there needs to be some further editing. Like I previously stated, there was NO duct tape on his mouth. Also, you made an intimidation roll (and succeeded), so that was your action. You can't just snatch the gun out of his hand. (that would be a disarm action). Link to comment
Thevshi
Red Lion 1 attacks Jube, missing even worse with a 8 Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, I think we are on Round Nine now, though Jube and Red Lion 1 are the only ones in combat still. Jube's action! Link to comment
