Aoiroo Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 25, so yeah, not stunned, Philos is gonna attempt to grapple the captain, so grapple attack, 30, so hit, and grapple roll 24, not as good, but -3 for the captain because of the str drain on his grapple roll.
Vahnyu Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Philos used up 1 HP Grapple check 1d20+17 → [14,17] = (31)
Aoiroo Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Gonna surge for another action, so fatigue next round, Philos is gonna hit him with his snare gun, 30, that's a crit. So that's DC 25 reflex.
Vahnyu Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Reflex save vs Snare DC 25 1d20+10 → [13,10] = (23) Fails by 2 The Captain is entangled (-2 atk/def, -4 Dex)

Reflex save for half ranks to DC, vs DC 20 Pirates: 1d20+1 → [11,1] = (12) Fails. 1d20+1 → [10,1] = (11) 1d20+1 → [19,1] = (20) 1d20+1 → [11,1] = (12) 1d20+1 → [18,1] = (19) One success Pirate Captain (Evasion 2, -2 Ref) 1d20+8 → [15,8] = (23) Saves successfully, no effect due to Area Attack Reflex save to avoid stun vs DC20 Pirates 1d20+1 → [18,1] = (19) Fails, knocked unconscious The rest of the pirates appear unaffected from the attack, as if Immune to Chronal Effects. Hronos gains an HP  Pirate Captain: Attempts to break from the Snare as a full round action, DC19 1d20+10 → [5,10] = (15) EDIT: The net is damaged (-1 Toughness) Pirate Captain uses Extra effort to Surge, and moves further away from Philos as a move action(half speed). Pirates: They activate the cannon as a full round action Cannon(Plot Device): The cannon targets Hronos and Philotherian with a Temporal Movement Attack, causing both of them to automatically travel back in time, in the middle ages(Circa 7th century). Hronos loses his Chrono-Dimensional Configuration Array. Hronos and Philotherian gain 1 HP each. End of combat Edited May 16, 2013 by Vahnyu
Aoiroo Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Umm, he got 15 and you said dc19, that means he doesn't break it, it's a strength save to break it isn't it?
Vahnyu Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 !!! Oh! I see, you're right! The wording confused me, and I erroniously took it to mean that the power breaks it completely on an unsuccessful save. I'll edit the post, but bear in mind, the combat still ends
