Ok, so that is a great diplomacy roll, even with the penalty for not speaking the lingo. I am going to fudge it to be not quite as successful as one would think in order to bounce the plot along. The crowd are neutral rather than angry (so he did achieve something!). As this is effectively a GM fiat, 1 Hero Point to Graft.

For the records

Graft - 4 HP

Foreshadow - 1 HP

Velocity - 2 HP

And we are into some action!

First of all, can I have a DC 15 INT roll from all present. If you have Eidectic Memory, +4 Bonus.

Secondly. I will need a Fort Save 18 From all you. This is a Fatigue Attack.

Thirdly, Graft can make a very hard DC 30 Scent Roll please.

Lastly, Initiative Time!

1d20+10=27 for ?????

1d20+8=26 for Lady Brazil.

I am giving the bodyguards and bystanders an global initiative of 10 (if they get involved)

Almost certainly, Velocity is up! ;)

And Foreshadow makes the Int Roll with a 21.  Surprisingly even without the Eidetic Memory bonus he makes it.

Not quite as lucky on the Fort Save getting a 16

Made up for with the 30 on his initiative.  Which might be a 28 if the Dex should have been lowered for the initiative roll upon thinking about it, I'm not quite sure on that.   He's fatigued after all.

Ok!

So, Foreshadow recognises the mask Lady Brazil is wearing - it was backstage, Ana was working on it when they came in.

Foreshadow is fatigued.

Round 1

61 - Velocity - Unharmed - 2 HP

30 - Foreshadow - Fatigued - 1 HP

27 - ????

26 - Lady Brazil - Unharmed

12 - Graft - Unharmed - 4 HP

10 - Everyone else.

And predictably, Velocity is up!

I will remind y'all that we are on a stage, with a tense situation - bodyguards with guns out, a panicked Mayor who was nearly killed, and a Crowd who are rumbling, with masked stooges in. In other words - complex! :) Also, Lady Brazil has taken no physically aggressive action you are aware of. Of course, if you want to pre-emptively punch her in the face, that is entirely reasonable!

Okay, Velocity will power stunt a disarm power off her superspeed array.  It will basically be like her Strike power, but for a disarm effect.  (For now, taking the Fatigue)

Disarm 14 (Feats: Accurate 4 (+8); Improved Crit  2 (18-20); Takedown Attack 2) {22/30pp}

She is then going to go try to snatch off Lady Brazil’s mask.  She gets a 32 on her attack roll, which is also a Critical!  So she will get a +5 on her disarm attempt.

But she only gets a 25 on the disarm attempt.

Foreshadow is up!

DC 10 Medicine check from Graft for him to recognise Lady Brazil appears to be having a clonic seizure - which is slightly unusual (without a tonic component) but not rare. He would need an EEG to know for sure, of course. This is a free action.

(If wishes to attend to her, another DC 10 Check on his round to make sure she comes to no harm like suffocation. He would need a DC 15 Medical check an appropriate medication to inject her with something to stop her fitting...if that is what she is doing!) - no need to do this action, I am just putting out for reference.

Let's see, if I recall correctly using Innuendo to pass messages is a Full Round action.  Which Foreshadow's going to take the opportunity to try and get the other two up to date on where the mask came from with an Innuendo (1d20+10=26) thereby succeeding on the DC of 15(Simple Message, New Information).  Understanding the message is of course a Sense Motive Check with the same DC, both ????? and Lady Brazil being the unintended targets would have to beat it by 5 to understand the message through eavesdropping.

Ok I will make that ???? Sense Motive check in secret (unless any of you object!)

Lady Brazil is barely conscious, and really not in a state of mind to concentrate on this - I will rule she fails automatically.

Its a DC 15 Sense Motive check for Velocity and Graft to Understand that.

Which settles the crowd at bit! (Hostile -> Unfriendly)

Lady Brazil is having a seizure, but it is short lived, she is not out of seizure and passive.

As the crowd is essentially back to rumbling and mixed feelings, they will not act on 10. So we move on!

Round 2

61 - Velocity - Fatigued - 2 HP

30 - Foreshadow - Fatigued - 1 HP

27 - ????

26 - Lady Brazil - ? Status

12 - Graft - Unharmed - 4 HP

10 - Everyone else.

Back to Velocity, American Gung-ho supervillain who knocked out National Superheroine!

EDIT: Forgot the -5 Diplomacy penalty for not speaking da lingo!
