Thevshi Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 22 Tsunami (bruised, 1 HP) 20 Glamazon (unharmed, 1 HP) 2 Manta 2 (2 injured) Forgot to mention, but the mini-sub moved 500 feet after shooting the torpedo. Tsunami will follow after it, which she can easily do, and power attack once more (-2 atk/+2 dam), getting a 15, for another miss. Glamazon is up.
Brown Dynamite Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 And Glamazon also follows after attempting to All out Attack again (+2 Atk/-2 Def). Also Missing with a 12. This is one lucky sub.
Thevshi Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) Okay, time to move things on a little bit. Tsunami will delay her action to coordinate with Glamazon, so my IC post will presume they are both swimming up together, when the run into the reinforcements that were being sent to help the fleeing mini-sub. Round Six 20 Tsunami (bruised, 1 HP) (dropped down to Glamazon’s Initiative on the idea of coordinating an attack) 20 Glamazon (unharmed, 1 HP) 17 Zeta Merc 4 14 Zeta Merc 1 14 Manta 5 13 Zeta Merc 3 10 Zeta Merc 2 4 Zeta Merc 5 2 Manta 2 (2 injured) Seeing the bad guys that are waiting, Tsunami is going to power stunt an area attack: Blast 10 (Extra: Targeted Area (cone); Flaws: 0 Range; Feats: Accurate 2). She will Defensive Attack, -2 Atk/+2 Def; she fires at three of the mercs and one of the mini-subs. Her attack roll is a 16, just enough to hit the mercs, but misses the mini-sub. All three mercs misss their toughness saves, so they are out. Edited August 26, 2013 by Thevshi
Brown Dynamite Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Glamazon will also power stunt. In her case she's stunting off her Superstrength as if she had the Shockwave power feat. Prompting a DC 22 TOU save for those that fall inside the 70 ft cone area trying to get at least one of the remaining mercs. DC 17 Reflex to reduce for half effect.
Thevshi Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) Nice, I will say that catches both the remaining mercs and the mini-sub as well. The two mercs actually make their Reflex saves. Against the DC 19 toughness saves, Merc 4 misses and is out, Merc 5 makes it. The mini-sub also makes its toughness save and is undamaged. Post away. Edited August 27, 2013 by Thevshi
Thevshi Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 The last remaining merc will take a shot at Tsunami, missing badly. The mini-sub will fire a torpedo, catching both teens in the blast. Tsunami easily makes her Reflex save and avoids the effects of the explosion.
Brown Dynamite Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 And Glamazon barely misses the reflex save with a 17 She does however readily make the TOU save with a 25
Thevshi Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Round Seven 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued, 1 HP) 20 Glamazon (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 14 Manta 5 (injured) 4 Zeta Merc 5 2 Manta 2 (2 injured) Tsunami will pursue, keeping her stunted power in place. When she closes, she will attack (using Power Attack, -2 atk/+2 dam), getting a 19, good enough to hit the mini-sub and the last merc. The merc is out. The mini-sub just misses its toughness save vs DC 27, so it is damaged/injured. Glamazon’s action.
Brown Dynamite Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Glamazon will also pursue using a Power Attack (-2 atk/+2 dam) to try and smack into the Manta when closing the distance. Getting an 8. The less said about that one the better.
Thevshi Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 Okay, getting close to the finale! Manta 5 made an all-out move which gets it to the surface (Manta 2 already reached there the previous round). Round Eight 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued, 1 HP) 20 Glamazon (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 20 Merc 8 18 Merc 5 17 Natas 17 Merc 1 17 Merc 4 17 Merc 7 16 Merc 14 14 Manta 5 (injured) 14 Merc 11 13 Merc 12 13 Merc 15 12 Merc 9 10 Merc 3 10 Merc 10 9 Merc 2 5 Merc 6 5 Merc 13 2 Manta 2 (2 injured) I will try to get Tsunami's action in soon. (and don't worry, this list includes mercs that are on the ship, but not immedaitely in the action)
Thevshi Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Tsunami will stick with her stunted power, moving in closer and attacking the two already damaged mini-subs from below. She easily hits with a 27 Manta 2 gets a 13 on its toughness save, so is heavily damaged and out of commission. Manta 5 does better with a 19 for a toughness save, taking only another injured (but still being rocked by the water blast). When Manta 2 gets upended, a couple of mercs get dumped into the water. Glamazon’s action!
Brown Dynamite Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Glamazon will use the effects of her stunted power feat for another shockwave prompting a DC 22 TOU save for those that fall inside the 70 ft cone area as she attacks the new mercs. DC 17 Reflex to reduce for half effect.
Thevshi Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) The two mercs roll reflex saves:one misses, one makes it. They make Toughness saves: the one who missed the reflex save also misses his toughness save and is out, the other makes his toughness save. Manta 5 misses its toughness save and is now heavily damaged and inoperable. Go ahead and post IC. Edited September 9, 2013 by Thevshi
Thevshi Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) Okay, starting the bad guys actions: Up on the deck of the ship, Mercs 5-8 try to peer into the water to spot either of the teenage heroines, only Merc 7 is able spot them through all the chaos in the water. Natas also tries to spot the pair, getting a 23, so he is able to spot the pair as well. Natas fires a spear gun down into the water, the projectile gets down between Tsunami and Glamazon, and then lets off a sonic burst. DC 18 Reflex save to half the effect of the shockwave, DC 23 toughness save if Glamazon misses the save (if she makes it, her Imp toughness will absorb the shockwave). Tsunami gets a 26 on her Reflex save, thus allowing her to avoid the shockwave all together with Evasion. Edited September 9, 2013 by Thevshi
Brown Dynamite Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Glamazon also makes her Reflex Save with a 20
Thevshi Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) Merc 1 jumps back into the water, spots Tsunami and fires at her, just hitting with a 21 Tusnami gets a 16 on her toughness save vs DC 20, so she is fine. Tusnami gets a 16 on her toughness save vs DC 20, so she is fine. The pilots of Manta 5 and 2 spends the round getting themselves out of the wrecked and sinking mini-subs. Merc 7 fires down into the water at Glamazon, hitting with a 23, but her impervious toughness shakes that off. Merc 2 climbs back into the pilots seat of the mini-sub he was on and powers it up and takes it back under the waves. Merc 5 attaches cables from the crane on the ship to several hard points on the mini-sub he is standing on. And several of the other mercs do some things, move about, scan the waters, etc, which do not really matter at the moment. Though, the engines to the ship start powering up. Thevshi Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) Round Nine 20 Tsunami (bruised, fatigued, 1 HP) 20 Glamazon (unharmed, fatigued, 1 HP) 20 Merc 8 18 Merc 5 17 Natas 17 Merc 1 17 Merc 7 16 Merc 14 14 Manta 5 pilot 14 Merc 11 13 Merc 12 13 Merc 15 12 Merc 9 10 Merc 3 10 Merc 10 9 Merc 2 (mini-sub injured 1) 5 Merc 6 5 Merc 13 2 Manta 2 pilot Giang will fire her cone attack at the newly active manta (driven by Merc 2) and Merc 1. She gets a 29 on her attack roll, for a critical hit. That is a DC 30 toughness save for each. Merc 1 gets a 6, so he is WAY out. The mini-sub gets a 27, a pretty good roll, but still takes a injury. Glamazon is up! Edited September 9, 2013 by Thevshi
Brown Dynamite Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Assuming Glamazon could swim up towards the ship. Would she be able to scale it in the same move action? Or would it take a second one to get on board?
Thevshi Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 I will let you go with swimming up to the mini-sub still on the surface (the one just rigged up to be hauled up) and then switching to the alt power and leaping up onto the deck all as one move action, as the total distance is still under a move action for either (WAy under for swimming)
Brown Dynamite Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 In which case. Glamazon can kiss her impervious goodbye as she makes the distance. And then goes with another shockwave. This one towards Merc 7(and anyone who falls into the cone while targeting him) who shot at her before. DC 22 TOU save. 17 on the Reflex to reduce damage.
Thevshi Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Mercs 5-8 all miss their Reflex saves. Tough Saves: Merc 5 makes his, the other three are out! Natas makes his Reflex save and his Impervious protection allows him to ignore the effects of what he does not avoid. Post Away!
Thevshi Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Merc 5 takes aim at Glamazon, and misses with a 8. Natas fires another spear at Glamazon, and just barely misses with a 14! The pilot of one of the submersibles gets himself out of the sinking vehicle and fires a spear gun at Tsunami, not even coming close with a 8. Merc 11, who was on the back deck of the ship (port side) moves more to the middle near and fires at Glamazon, hitting with a 17. That is a DC 20 toughness save for Glamazon.
Brown Dynamite Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) Which she makes by the skin of her teeth with a 20 Actually. Just noticed we've forgotten take into the penalty of fatigue into account. So her attacks have really been DC 21 TOU saves with DC 17 reflex saves. But also. The -2 to dex means her defense is at +4 not +5. So Natas hits. Edited September 14, 2013 by HG Morrison
Thevshi Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 Hehe, well, that still is making it. Can you give me a notice check for Glamazon please.
