Tiffany Korta Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Okay Lucy will help the hanging guy to you know not choke.
trollthumper Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 That most certainly happens. Hangman, meanwhile, tries to make his way out of the building to the alley.Foreshadow is up next.
Brown Dynamite Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 With Cannonade and Revenant started on the helping him get down. Foreshadow's going to take chase.
trollthumper Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 Having gone slightly abstract, Foreshadow should be gaining on him.Bloody Mess is up next.
Supercape Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 The Mess is moving to catch the Hangman, using jump and/or speed (whatever works) That said, he will keep his distance (say 20 feet away for now) if he can even get that close. Also using an action to pick up a dumpster (I hope that is reasonable narrative licence TT, basically looking for something to throw at the Hangman, or maybe, plonk on top of him! - I presume there is something large and heavy he can pick up on the way!)
trollthumper Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 That works for now. I'll give Bloody Mess an HP as Hangman deflects the dumpster with his noose. Next round, we will go to hard combat; for now, we're mostly narrative.Cannonade is going to join Revenant in getting this guy down. The Hound is up next.
Supercape Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I guess Hound is just following the Mess, the Hangman, and the Dumpster in the Chevvy. Not too near though, kind of safe distance tailing. Not sure that would actually need a drive roll, but throwing one out anyways! 1d20+6=9 could get bumpy!
trollthumper Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 That will do. Back to the top of the round. Now, mechanics are key.Revenant is up first.
Tiffany Korta Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Not sure what you'd like me to roll but I'll try to assist Cannonade to defeat this nasty rope .
trollthumper Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 I'd say that, through our combined efforts, we manage to get the guy down. I'm not throwing another series of chops like last time.Revenant: 26, Unharmed, 0 HPHangman: 25, Unharmed, 0 HPForeshadow: 16, Unharmed, 0 HPBloody Mess: 11, Unharmed, 1 HPCannonade: 11, Unharmed, 3 HPThe Hound: 9, Unharmed, 0 HPHangman is up next. Having deflected the dumpster, he now swings at Bloody Mess. And misses.Foreshadow is up next.
Brown Dynamite Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Didn't realize we were waiting on me. Foreshadow will come in close using a move action if need be. Followed by an Acrobatic Feint: 1d20+22 35 Ever the team player that feint is being used with Set-Up for Bloody Mess to take advantage of. Also using Move-by Action to back off a little if need be and he didn't end up going his max move distance in the previous.
trollthumper Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Gah. Well, this one went awry. And Hangman is caught Flat-Footed.Revenant: 26, Unharmed, 0 HPHangman: 25, Unharmed, Flat-Footed, 0 HPForeshadow: 16, Unharmed, 0 HPBloody Mess: 11, Unharmed, 1 HPCannonade: 11, Unharmed, 3 HPThe Hound: 9, Unharmed, 0 HPBloody Mess is up next.
Supercape Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Ok so Bloody Mess will go for broke this time, I think, seeing as Foreshadow has set this up nicely. All Out, power attack. 1d20+10=28 Looks like Lefty Did Well. But wait, there is more! Surging and Fatiguing himself for another all out power attack! 1d20+10=20 Not sure his defence, but if flat footed I guess that hits. So thats a DC 30 Toughness Save for every attack that hits. (I presume at least one does), and Bloody Mess is fatigued. Ill post after HGM does for Foreshadow.
trollthumper Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 By the rules, the next attack made against somebody caught flat-footed by a Feint is a surprise attack. So, Hangman loses his Dodge Bonus for the first one, which hits, but retains it for the second, which misses. But for the first one...Welp. As giving him a glass jaw might be a bit much, I'll give everyone a Hero Point, and Hangman is Bruised and Dazed instead. Oh, and he takes Knockback damage from hitting the wall, and another Bruise.Revenant: 26, Unharmed, 1 HPHangman: 25, Bruised x2, Dazed (Bloody Mess's Action), 0 HPForeshadow: 16, Unharmed, 1 HPBloody Mess: 11, Unharmed, 2 HPCannonade: 11, Unharmed, 4 HPThe Hound: 9, Unharmed, 0 HPCannonade is up next. He takes his turn to rip the rope right open, and head downstairs. The Hound is up next.
Supercape Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Hound is just following the action in the car at street level, so I guess better to skip his post / action unless you want something from him?
trollthumper Posted September 13, 2014 Author Posted September 13, 2014 No, he's good.Top of the round. Revenant is up next.
Tiffany Korta Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Revenant will pile around the corner and try to take down the Hangman. Attack Roll: 1d20+12 29, if that hits a DC 27 Toughness save
trollthumper Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Oh, yeah, that'll hit. Another Bruise, and Dazed.Revenant: 26, Unharmed, 1 HPHangman: 25, Bruised x3, Dazed (Revenant's Action), 0 HPForeshadow: 16, Unharmed, 1 HPBloody Mess: 11, Unharmed, 2 HPCannonade: 11, Unharmed, 4 HPThe Hound: 9, Unharmed, 0 HPHangman is Dazed, and will not shake it off. Foreshadow is up next.
Brown Dynamite Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Free Action: Draw Escrima Sticks.Move Action: Acrobatic Bluff (Feint): 1d20+22 30Standard Action: Smack around with Escrima Sticks (DC19/21*): 1d20+12 13 So that was horrible. Spending the HP to reroll. Rerolled Standard Action: Strike with Escrima Sticks (DC19/21*): 1d20+12 26 *Sneak Attack Damage if feinted
trollthumper Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 Hangman is Feinted, and gets hits with Sneak Attack. And makes the save.Bloody Mess is up next.
Supercape Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 So move action to jump into the Hangman, and punching him again; non shifted. 1d20+10=20 I think that misses based on above. Ill post after HGM does.
trollthumper Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 It would... but as Foreshadow has Set-Up and missed his attack, I'm letting him pass the bonus onto you. That's another Bruised, at least.Revenant: 26, Unharmed, 1 HPHangman: 25, Bruised x4, Dazed (Revenant's Action), 0 HPForeshadow: 16, Unharmed, 1 HPBloody Mess: 11, Unharmed, 2 HPCannonade: 11, Unharmed, 4 HPThe Hound: 9, Unharmed, 0 HPCannonade's turn. He doesn't get the Set-Up, but can still take a nice swing. There we go. DC26 TOU save, and... he's down. We are out of rounds.
