Raveled Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Blue Jay's reflex save. (1d20+12=23) Oh you've got to be sh---ing me! Blue Jay's Toughness save. (1d20+10=23) ... Okay, I'll take this one fair and square.Hm, if he's always going to be AoE'ing, then there's no point to going Def while talking at him.Blue Jay's ranged attack, vs Gold's Def. DC 20 Tou + Autofire (1d20+15=30) Well that should at least hit!
Supercape Posted May 21, 2014 Author Posted May 21, 2014 That does indeed and with full +3 autofire bonus, making it a DC 23 Toughness Save by my count! So for all his power, he only has a +1 toughness bonus... 1d20+1=21 hows about that? Bruised! Post away!
Supercape Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Another Full Blast of Power, this time a cone, directed at Jay - Again, its a Damage 15 Area Affect (DC 25 Reflex, and then, given evasion, a DC 23 toughness effect or avoid!)
Raveled Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Blue Jay's Ref save, vs DC 25. (1d20+12=27) Nope, sorry Gold!
Raveled Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Okay, in the hopes of setting this guy up for something, Jay's going to use an Acid Arrow to Drain his Toughness. Since he using all AoE attacks, full Power Attack and full All-Out Attack; Jay's Def is -5 for this round only.Blue Jay's ranged attack, vs Gold's Def. DC 20 Fort (1d20+15=31) DC 20 Fort to resist Tou Drain.
Supercape Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 1d20+5=16 drained 4 toughness, and ouch! acid burn? nasty horrible injury...
Supercape Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Ok so he is putting everything into a last furious blast, using extraordinary effort to exhaust himself, and create a damage 19 burst! So that is a DC 29 Reflex Save to avoid, or (if failed), a DC 25 Toughness save.
Raveled Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Blue Jay's reflex save, vs DC 29. (1d20+12=14) Whelp! Would have to roll a 17 to beat that save, so I didn't expect that to happen.Blue Jay's Toughness save, vs DC 25. (1d20+10=19) Yikes. Hm, I think I'm going to let this result stand.
Supercape Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 Bruised and Dazed then. And now, he will knock himself out (beyond exhausted) with a final burst of extra effort! So a Damage 17 effect. Thats a reflex roll DC 27, and if failed, a DC 24 Toughness Save!
Raveled Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Blue Jay's Reflex save, vs DC 27. (1d20+12=19)Blue Jay's Toughness savs, vs DC 24. (1d20+9=19)
Supercape Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 A second bruise and daze. But now out of combat, as Gold / Ground Zero has knocked himself out!
Supercape Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 Ok a few rolls! Firstly, with Jays Survival skill she cant fail at navigating home by starlight or just plain skill. Feel free to narrate that! Secondly, and again a bit of a fudge, two options: Force marched back home, fatiguing both you and Cord, taking turns in pulling. Meaning one DC 15 ENvironment (Cold) check. Or, slow and steady. not exhausted, but two Environment (cold) checks, DC 15 and DC 20. You both get +5 to fort saves from clothes, and +2 due to Jays generally awesome survival skill!
Raveled Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 i'll go with the forced march. That gives me a +15 Fort save overall, so I literally cannot fail that saving throw.
Supercape Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 Post awaaaaay! The bruises you can heal on the march, I think. So I make it: Blue Jay - 1 HP - Fatigued?
Raveled Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Blue Jay's Sense Motive check, vs DC 20. (1d20+15=19)
Raveled Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Can't let the guy jump out of the plane. Spending Jay's last HP to stunt Snare 5 (Feat: Chokehold, Tether) off the Bow Array.Attacking. Blue Jay's ranged attack w/ +5 Power Attack, +5 All-Out Attack. DC 25 Ref. (1d20+15=31)
Supercape Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 That snares him! He cant make that., post away!
Raveled Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Jay's Intimidate check. (1d20+11=29) Woot woot.
Raveled Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Going to invoke Luddite Upbringing. Jay is going to be useless for anything involving landing the plane.
Supercape Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 That works for me. Blue Jay - 2 HP- Fatigued
Supercape Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 So lets go for a Plane Crash! Toughness 30 Save! Harsh, but that should be it for the thread! How do Cord, Gold, and the Pilot thread. They all have +2 Toughness... 1d20+2=14, 1d20+2=16, 1d20+2=17 Not bad! Cord is dying, The other two are merely disabled and staggered, but not unconscious.
Raveled Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Blue Jay's Toughness save, vs DC 30. (1d20+10=19) Jay is going to reroll that, spending what should be her last HP.Blue Jay's Toughness save, vs DC 30. (1d20+10=13) So +11 to that, it become 24. Staggered + Disabled + Stunned
Supercape Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Cool awesome! Post away! Although with DC 30 a 24 result is just bruised, injured, stunned?
