Thevshi Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 Quinn, tomorrow morning I am going to move us forward.
Quinn Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) Okay, Crow's got Ideas. Continuing with the plan - Crow'll direct the two of them to where he's heading underground, then Teleport down using his coat; Concealment Power active. Currently it's only normal Vision that's being blocked thanks to that dratted Coat Fatigue. ^^; Note, as a trick, he's going to use the wires from his knives to suspend himself in midair. Neat, huh? But hey, I'm sure Warden doesn't have any thermal cameras or ultrasound motion sensors, right? Also, as an note, Take 10 Skill Mastery on Stealth for 25. Edited December 11, 2013 by Quinn
Thevshi Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Okay Quinn, so are you switching off the stunted power on the coat?
Quinn Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) ...whoopsie. Yes. Though thanks to Thevshi's generosity, cancel all of that except turning off that power, as Crow is going to fanboy a tiny bit and end up paralyzed with indecision because of it for an HP. Edited December 11, 2013 by Quinn
Thevshi Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 +1 HP to Crow for the loss of cool and being unable to really act for the round. Blue Jay needs to make a Reflex Save (DC 22) as the elevator begins to crackle with electricity. If she makes it, she avoids the stun attack, if she fails (thanks to Evasion 2) she only needs to make a DC 16 Fort save.
Raveled Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Jay's Reflex save, vs DC 22. (1d20+8=22) Yup.
Thevshi Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 Round Five (9 rounds till computer files begin to delete!) 29 Blue Jay (1 HP, Unharmed) 24 Blodeuwedd (2 HP, Unharmed) 17 Raven (Unharmed) 12 Crow (2 HP, Unharmed, Coat is suffering fatigue (-2 ranks to all powers until repaired)) 8 Warden (Unharmed) Jay is up!
Raveled Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Jay is going to shoot the cable holding the elevator car up. Using full Power Attack.Jay's ranged attack check w/ +5 Power Attack, vs cable's Def. DC 25 Tou + Autofire (1d20+10=12) Well, screw me.
Thevshi Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Well, the cable is not really heroic Rav. I will let you take 10 on shooting it, so you will hit! As for the bounding up higher while shooting, I figure Jay's acrobatics is good enough with skill mastery to allow her to do that.
Quinn Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Working on what Crow's going to be doing right now - just need to figure a few things out first. Thev, PM sent your way enquiring for details!
Thevshi Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 I didn't get any PM Quinn. Edit: Actually, I did get the PM, just not notice that there was one. I replied Quinn.
Thevshi Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Okay, time for some more traps fun... A pair of drones are flying down at Blue Jay with an arc of electricity between them, getting a 17 on their attack roll, which hits, as Blue Jay loses her Dodge bonus while handing by one hand (which is basically climbing). So DC 20 Fort save for Blue Jay. Crow meanwhile has to deal a grappling cable that come out of the wall at him (as there are thermal cameras down there). The cable gets a 29 on its attack roll, grabbing Crow. He also has a DC 20 Fort save to make from the electrical carrier attack. It gets a 35 on its grapple check.
Quinn Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Oh, this is going to be ugly. Okay, I can't match the Grapple Check unless I get a Nat 20... DC 35 Grapple Check! (1d20+10=12) - ahahahaha no. Still, there's a fair shot on the Fortitude save (also, Warden just stole Crow's favorite tactic. His ass is grass.) DC 20 Fortitude save! (1d20+5=20) - yaaaaay. Blod, get me outta this trap so we can go punch dudes! (Also, gods-damnit losing element of surprise. Bluh.)
Raveled Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Jay's Fort save, vs DC 20. (1d20+8=11) Yeah, sure. Why not?
Thevshi Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 Round Six (8 rounds till computer files begin to delete!) 29 Blue Jay (1 HP, Unharmed, Stunned) 24 Blodeuwedd (2 HP, Unharmed) 17 Raven (Unharmed) 12 Crow (2 HP, Unharmed, Gappled Coat is suffering fatigue (-2 ranks to all powers until repaired)) 8 Warden (Unharmed) With Jay Stunned, Blod is up!
Tiffany Korta Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Blod' going to arrive, see the tenticle and attack. Seems it's her day to rescue people from traps . Attack Attack Nasty Tenticles: 1d20+10 11. Probably not going to work but hey thought that counts .
Thevshi Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Well she won't be able to attack this round, as it would be a move action to get off the rooftop, then another to get the entrance to the tunnels Crow pointed out opened.
Tiffany Korta Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I'll spend a HP to get the extra action, enough to reach Crow and miss completely .
Quinn Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) Okay, Crow's going to first try and get out of those shackles with a short-range port, while he still has the chance. Concentration check! Concentration check! (1d20+10=25) - if that makes it, awesomeness - I'd like to try hucking my knives at those ruddy things and tie 'em up with my own snare if I can. Give me a shout if that's doable! Well, I guess the rest of Crow's turn is flailing about and hoping this doesn't turn into one of those comics from overseas! Everyone always wants to tie up the Cowl. T_T Edited January 17, 2014 by Quinn
Thevshi Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 It is only a DC 20 Concentration check, so yes, that makes it and he can teleport free.
