Quinn Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) Excellent. From that, let's get a bit of vengeance. YOU AIN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN RIDE THE LIGHTNING, WANKERS. *koff* THROW ALL THE THINGS (1d20+14=34) - now that is awesomeness on toast.. Snare + Blast on this one - DC 21 Reflex to avoid, then DC 26 TOU save against the follow-up electroshock Blast going right up those wires. Edited January 17, 2014 by Quinn
Thevshi Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 Okay, the cable is bound and helpless by the snare, and is damaged by the electrical carrier attack (injured) and won't be acting this turn as it is effectively dazed.
Thevshi Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 The first grapple cable stains against the snare (DC 25 toughness save due to STR), the snare gets a 8 on its toughness save and the cable breaks free. A second grapple cable comes snaking out to try to grab Crow, getting a 24, which is good enough to grab Crow. So a DC 20 Fort save vs the shock and it gets a 38 on its grapple check!
Thevshi Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Also, I forgot about the drones. They go after Raven, but miss with a 20.
Quinn Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 These cables are starting to seriously irritate me. Can't match the Grapple check (again), so let's see that Fortitude save...Fortitude save! (1d20+5=24) Well, that's something at least. Right, new plan...
Thevshi Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Round Seven (7 rounds till computer files begin to delete!) 29 Blue Jay (1 HP, Unharmed, Stunned) (+2 to next Fort check) 24 Blodeuwedd (1 HP, Unharmed) 17 Raven (Unharmed) 12 Crow (2 HP, Unharmed, Gappled Coat is suffering fatigue (-2 ranks to all powers until repaired)) 8 Warden (Unharmed) Blue Jay is still stunned, so Blode is up!
Tiffany Korta Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Blodeuwedd is going to try and attack the bounds holding Crow Attack roll: 1d20+10 28.
Thevshi Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Raven throws one of her Ravenrangs at one of the two remotes, hitting with a 30. The remote only gets a 7 on its toughness save, so is destroyed. Crow is up!
Thevshi Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 Gah, silly me, I forgot to roll the toughness save for the cable Blode sliced. It only gets a 12, so it is disabled, so not completely destroyed, but might as well be. Crow is released. So, Crow is up!
Quinn Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Hey. Hey Warden. Hey. I'm in ur base, beatin' up ur doods (if he has any). Crow stunts off his gloves that magic shaped charge I was talking about; taking out a piece of paper and a spray-paint can and stenciling an experimental rune onto the wall. Let's see if it works! Corrosion 7 (Extras: Area [Cylinder; 15 ft. radius, 10 ft. height], Penetrating; Flaws: Distracting) (30 PP) (Shaped Charge Rune) And in the meantime, hope Blod can keep his butt from getting grappled again. Or hey, maybe it'll also hit that metal tentacle in the blast radius? Edited February 7, 2014 by Quinn
Thevshi Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Well Quinn, I would take off the area, as that is not very focused (which shaped charges are). That will take out a huge 30 wide section two stories high. That is bound to cause a cave in. Also, did you want to take the fatigue on Crow this time instead of the device?
Quinn Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Ah, in which case, 5 ft. radius and 20 ft. height, pointing sideways into the basement. And yes, Crow is taking Fatigue, and getting rid of it with a prompt HP use. I should be down to 1 left now; and if not, then what the heck I can go without for a while. Hey, hey Warden, hey. KNOCK KNOCK JERKFACE WHO ORDERED A BEATING
Thevshi Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Okay, the walls make a saving throw (after being reduced by the corrosion), getting a 17. I will read that result at the outer wall gets a big hole blow in it, and the next wall 10 feet beyond is damaged, but not broken.
Thevshi Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 So, the first cable in the sewer reaches after Crow after he blew a hole in the wall, getting a 13. Normally that would miss, but his stunted power was distracting, making him lose his dodge bonus (ie flat footed), so that actually hits. A 39 on its grapple check, and another DC 20 Fort save for Crow vs the Stun.
Thevshi Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Round Eight (6 rounds till computer files begin to delete!) 29 Blue Jay (1 HP, Unharmed, Stunned) (+2 to next Fort check) 24 Blodeuwedd (1 HP, Unharmed) 17 Raven (Unharmed) 12 Crow (1 HP, Unharmed, Gappled Coat is suffering fatigue (-2 ranks to all powers until repaired)) 8 Warden (Unharmed) Rav, need a Fort save +2 from Blue Jay (DC 20), if she makes it, she is able to act this round! If not, then Blode is up.
Raveled Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Jay's Fort save, vs DC 20. (1d20+10=22) Hallelujah!
Thevshi Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 So Raven has pulled Jay beyond the wrecked elevator. They are in a dark hallway about twenty five feet long, with two doors along the walls (opposite each other) about fifteen feet down, and a metal door at the end of the hall.
Raveled Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 In case the door is locked. Jay's Disable Device check. (1d20+10=23)
Thevshi Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Okay, with Jay holding for Raven, Blode is up!
Thevshi Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 So Crow is dazed until he can make a Fort save. Blode is up!
Thevshi Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Okay, while we wait for what Blode is going to do, will go ahead and play out what is going on with Jay and Raven. Rav, Jay gets to decide who will spring the trap on one of the side doors. Let me know either way and we can roll what needs to be rolled before your post IC.
Raveled Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Jay's been hit by enough traps so far! Raven can go first.
Thevshi Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Hey, fair enough, just wanted to give you (as the player) the choice instead of having the NPC force a decision on you. So, Raven will move by Jay and signal for her to fall back down the hallway, then kick in the doorway. Another autogun firing stun shells opens up with a line area (covering the door), but Raven easily dives aside (and into the room) with a 27 Reflex save. I will say Jay can move back into the doorway and shoot at the gun still if you want her to.
