Supercape
Well thats more than enough to get the drop on them, if and when you wish... Link to comment
Ari
Waiting and watching for the present. Link to comment
Ari
Moving down to street level. Going to try and scare the thugs. Mass Intimidate roll: 21. Link to comment
Supercape
Incredibly: 1d20+3=22 they make it. 1d20+1=18 Initiative Could you roll for Ospreys Initiative? Link to comment
Ari
Curse them. Initiative roll: 12! Oh no! Link to comment
Supercape
So, the thugs turn on you! Lets do five attacks: 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=5, 1d20+2=7, 1d20+2=15, 1d20+2=9 All heroically miss! Link to comment
Ari
Taking 10 against the closest smuggler with an Unarmed attack, DC20 Toughness save for them. And using Startle on the next guy to Feint. Intimidate roll: 24. Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+2=8 He is out! At this point, to spare us the rolls of beating up four PL 2 Thugs, they will pause and scarper. If you want to give chase or throw an Osprey-rang at one or two to stop them, take it away. Link to comment
Ari
Using Snare to try and snag one of the fleeing thugs: 30. DC16 Reflex for him, though of course he is probably not in the best shape to dodge... Link to comment
Supercape
1d20=5 Penalty applied and resolutely failed. Post away! Link to comment
Supercape
Sorry for delay (ill big time) Ok so the thug will definately spill some beans! DC 0 for basic information, DC 10 for spilling more than absolutely necessary, DC 20 for singing like a canary. Intimidate roll please! If you could refine a bit what Osprey would like to know OOC that would be great - not required as I can ad lib someting for the story, but it might give me some clues! Link to comment
Ari
Roll(sorry for not doing this earlier): 32. Well then! OOC Mr. Richards would like to know who hired them, who owns the ship, where they were taking the shipment, the names of them and their confederates and if the Middleman was in on the job, and if so in what way. Link to comment
Supercape
32 gets you divine inspiration! Link to comment
Ari
Sorry, changing the last IC post. Makes no dramatic sense to bust out the bird form just yet. Link to comment
Supercape
Is Osprey going up to the bar dressed as Osprey? (I presume, I just check!) For such a magnificent entrance, lets have a straight CHA roll to see how he pulls it off. DC 10 to avoid getting you head kicked in, but getting shoved and pushed. DC 15 People let you through with no elbows and knees, but muttering and slowness. +2 to future diplomacy / intimidate / bluff checks. DC 20 To have an awesome "He got balls" round of (mental) applause. +5 to future checks. Link to comment
Ari
Yes, he's just going into the dangerous bar alone dressed as the hated vigilante Osprey. The kind of thing that gets real people beaten unconscious is his first plan! A straight-up Charisma check? Sure thing: A result of 21! Now I am just getting nervous. That fiend Invisible Castle has got to be plotting something. Link to comment
Supercape
So for reference he has +5 for all social / interaction checks for the rest of this scene in the bar. Link to comment
Ari
Very well, then he shall start by putting the spook-moves on the bartender. Diplomacy roll to try and convince the barkeep he should be allowed up: 28. I'm really starting to get nervous here. Link to comment
Supercape
Ari, are you ok for me to do a cut to Soho, you and Bullet Tony and a couple of his meatheads? If so, how would you like to approach Soho and Ill set up a scene? Feel free to make a few appropriate rolls like disguise or stealth or whatever depending on your judgement and how you want to approach Big Nelson. Link to comment
Ari
I am fine with a cut to the next scene. Thinking that Osprey follows Bullet Tony and his thugs from the rooftops and goes to sneak inside the building. Stealth roll: 16. Oh no! An imperfect roll that might result in him not being a damned ninja! The calamity! Notice roll to scout out the guards/other problem people. 27. Link to comment
Supercape
Rooftops is good. As Bullet tony is following you, well you are likely not to be a perfect ninja with them on your back anyway! Post will come IC for the cut. Link to comment
Supercape
Ok so (presuming Osprey goes down) can we have a DC 20 Notice check to spot an electronic alarm. Its DC 25 to Disarm (Disable Device) which may mean taking a 20 (for 2 minutes work). Link to comment
Ari
DC20 Notice roll: 9. Missed by a mile. Link to comment
