Sandman XI Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Climbing over the fence, taking 10, that's a result of 12. Does it get me anywhere? And if so, how long does it take?
Dr Archeville Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 It gets him up and over, though it does take some time. The fences are tall. Also, be aware the the sewers are going to be dark. Far darker than it is outside now (remember that it is night, though there is a full moon up and the skiy's clear so there's just enough light to not impose any penalties).
Sandman XI Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 For want of a nail the shoe was lost, for want of a shoe the horse was lost, for want of a horse the knight was lost, for want of a knight the battle was lost. So it was a kingdom was lost - all for want of a nail. Argh, we can't stop here! :P
Dr Archeville Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 I'm waiting for one of you to tell me that you're doing something more than standing at the mouth of the entrance, staring fearfully into the dark ;)
Sandman XI Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Characters may not necessarily carry all their equipment with them at all times. The GM may allow players to spend a hero point in order to have a particular item of equipment “on-hand†at a particular time. This is essentially a one-time use of the item for one encounter, and the Gamemaster rules whether or not having a particular item on-hand is possible. For example, a hero out for an evening in his secret identity might have something like a concealed weapon or other small item on-hand, but it’s unlikely the character is carrying a large weapon or item unless he has some means of concealing it.May I use an extra effort to pull a flashlight from nowhere?
Dr Archeville Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Sure. Alternatively, VM could spend some of his unspent pps on a built-in flashlight (effectively the Equipment feat) for machine-boy.
Sandman XI Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Making note of Wesley's fatigue in character :D
Sandman XI Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Am I still fatigued? If so, would that count as "something else" when adjucating "A fatigued character who does something else or suffers an effect that would normally cause fatigue becomes exhausted."?
Dr Archeville Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 Would using his powers fatigue him? Would making one attack fatigue him? No, they would not. So he's still fatigued, not exhausted. :)
Veiled Malice Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Yays! Rolling nat 20's makes V_M a happy person!
Veiled Malice Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 *cough* Rolling a crit makes the damage higher *cough* ;)
Dr Archeville Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Not if it's immune to crits. ... which, looking back over my notes, it seems it actually isn't. So, yeah, Mashin-Kun's covered in goo! Okay, all fixed.
Veiled Malice Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Huh. I totally forgot about that. Oh, and Bruising damage, or actual Injury?
Dr Archeville Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 To Mashin-Kun, from the Aura acid? None at all, purely cosmetic (thanks to his Impervious).
Sandman XI Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Defensive Attack and Coup de Gras. Also, would they count for separate posts, or should i join them?
Dr Archeville Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 It asplodes. Make a DC 20 Toughness save for the acidic aura. Just edit the existing post. ;)
