Sandman XI Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 But there are no blobs... right? dundunDUUUN
Dr Archeville Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 Just the paralyzed one. For now.
Sandman XI Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Do I still have use of the drain con area or would that take another HP?
Dr Archeville Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 That'd take another HP. Well, it'd be another use of Extra Effort, and an HP to nix the fatigue from it. You could just take he fatigue; it's not like there are any other imminent threats.....
Dr Archeville Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 That can't KO it or kill it, since Nauseate doesn't do damage. Using it for a coup de grace just means it'll be treated as a crit, so the DC will be bumped up by 5.
Sandman XI Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Lovely, I just noticed I have no offensive powers then :(
Dr Archeville Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 No, no, Knight is very offensive. ( ) He just doesn't have any damaging powers. (Which makes the "killed someone" part of his Mysterious Past a bit difficult, though not impossible, since he could've power stunted something lethal then).
Sandman XI Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I figure he's suppressing the potential damage he could do because of that incident. I guess it works in character that he has to go deep down to actually hurt something. And blobs aren't beople, so they don't count :P
Dr Archeville Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 That's a very good explanation. So, is he power stunting something to kill the blob, or is he just going to sentence it to an eternity of (non-fatally) vomiting itself inside out?
Sandman XI Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Even though I know it's gonna suck with out HP, I'm gonna blow the last one with a Drain Con Coup de Gras
Dr Archeville Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 And now it's dead. Poor lil' blobs.
Dr Archeville Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 That is indeed an awesome site. Make some knowledge checks, boyos. Whichever knowledges you have. Depending on how you do, you may get some clues on what to do next.
Sandman XI Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Knowledge (pop culture) and Knowledge (current events) (1d20+6=24, 1d20+6=23)
Sandman XI Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 If you wanna go ahead and do what Wesley suggested, he'll tell you after you get back. If not, he'll stop you before you take off.
Veiled Malice Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Well, I have the one - a 13. If I need more, just ask.
Dr Archeville Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 That doesn't get you much of anything, except seeing that the animals are still panicked. Keep rollin' if he's still lookin', or take 20. Or give up, go home, and lets blobs consume the city
Veiled Malice Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Hmm... you know, I never really liked that city anyway... But in the interests of humanitarianism, let's just go with taking 20, which will give me a 24 total.
Dr Archeville Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 YOU SEE ALL!!! *ahem* Mashin actually does see something of vital importance to the case. Something he's probably not going to like. He can actually see the acidic trails the blob-things left in the grass. Tracing it backward, he sees the gate through which they entered, and the large-ish drainage/sewer pipe out of which they crawled.
Sandman XI Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Sorry if it's not meant to be set up like that. I 'll change it if need be :D
Dr Archeville Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 You will The trail lead to a large drainage pipe (one big enough for you two to walk into), but there's a large fence between you & it (since Wesley's still in the zebra area of the zoo).
