Supercape
1d20+6=20 How about that! Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Alright, so she isn't flatfooted. John falls off the roof. And then she is attacked 1d20+10=20 And that hits her. Hey guess what? Someone found her cane. And not seeing an Infernal Descriptor on it, I am gonna be a jerk, and another GM Fiat, as Tazel is ripped out of her, and she gets an HP for it. But for now Tazel, and the Tazel Array are locked up. She still has the Infernal Forge. Link to comment
Supercape
That is no way being a jerk! That's being awesome! I don't play RPGs for my character to be in control... The metalhead fan, I love it! Ok for reference, preparing action for now, asking questions. The devil stick has got infernal descriptions but play with that how you like (its an awesome scene!) If he attacks or does anything offensive, ill use that prepared action to react with a chain snare, an unshifted attack 1d20+10=29 which I guess would hit (if not, I am in real trouble!) so a DC 20 Reflex Save Snare attack. (Rolling very well at the moment...I'm gonna have to choose to flunk a roll soon!) Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
He is stepping back, and using Subtle Emotion Control, Despair. DC 20 Will. Her Snare will not interrupt this, and 1d20+8=26 He is snared should she do it. Edited December 14, 2013 by TheAbsurdist Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+10=24 is that emotion control subtle (does she notice it?) if so, I guess its a snare, but with a reflex save of 26, doesnt that avoid the chain? Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
She doesn't notice.... And you are totally right, I was taking your attack roll as the DC, for some reason. He is going to keep using it, i.e. she needs another save, DC20. Edited December 14, 2013 by TheAbsurdist Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+10=16 Which I guess means shaken status! Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+6=14 for notice check Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Can't flex on the Notice, because of the distance. And lack of Medical training. So he is there on the ground. She can't tell if he is breathing or not from this distance. Link to comment
Supercape
Ok, well lets go for it! Jumping off the building and hope she is tough enough to stand the fall! With Tazel out of her that's a bit of a long shot, toughness only +2, but 1D20+2 => 10 well that's pretty bad, might knock her out, but hey, it plays into the whole despair emotion thing too! TheAbsurdist
Acutally she is only 5 stories up. So, unless I am totally reading the falling damage as wrong, that was DC15. So she takes one damage. And can I have a Reflex save as well? To prevent her from screwing up her leg even more, or aiming for an open trashbin, or something. Otherwise she will only be able to crawl. Link to comment
Supercape
How about auto failing that and playing into complication? Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Hokay, she is now Staggered. And can only take a move action (which would just be crawl), or make another action. She gets an HP for it, of course. If you want to modify your post accordingly. Link to comment
Supercape
Posted post fall. Hope a broken leg is a suitable descriptor! Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Will save, DC 18, versus Move Object, Damaging, Perception. Link to comment
Supercape
1d20+10=30 Bananas! its a rollercoster! Link to comment
Supercape
OK I think Pitch is ready to try and shut this guy up, given the abuse he is dishing to John. Initiative time? 1d20+6=15 Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
No problem. 1d20+5=7 Link to comment
Supercape
Right, so lets give him a straightforward blast of steel. 1d20+10=13 well dang! Lets see what happens with that. At least she has resurrection power if things get truly bad! Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Welp, that's a miss. He will return with another move object effect. Still a DC20 Will save. Link to comment
Supercape
So, I'm going to try a bit of Arson, see if I cant use some fire to escape. Is there any litter or trash nearby that I can use to set a reasonable sized fire? Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Yes. She is next to the dumpsters. Link to comment
