Ari Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I am always desirous of rolls. The result is 1d20+10=21.
Brown Dynamite Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Alrighty. It's hard to place why she leaves this feeling. But Detective Archer's unnatural presence gives you a feeling reminiscent of death. Purely on instinct it makes Alden feel agitated as if there's a looming danger nearby.
Vahnyu Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Net Fly will try to use Online Research, to find anything of revelance with the 4th Street Cuckoos. Datalink 3 (Radio, 1000 feet, Feats: Cyberspace) Computers 18, taking 10 on the roll (Skill Mastery), for a total of 28
Brown Dynamite Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 Alrighty. And took a Streetwise check for what Foreshadow already knew on said gang. Which probably should have done at the mention of them earlier. Knowledge Streetwise or Gather Info DC 10In the 90's the 4th Street Cuckoos were a massive gang operating out of Lincoln. Using numbers and whatever weapons they could scavenge in the aftermath of the Terminus invasion. Membership was expendable at the height of the gang's power with one Cuckoo easily replaced with two more after an arrest. DC 20 After a gang war with their rivals the gang was almost completely dissolved. Their leaders arrested and what remained of the gang relocated further East in the Southisde. Nowadays they're known to have a decently successful gun smuggling operation and as such gang members are often armed. The current gang leader is actually the son of the former leader of the Cuckoos. DC 30 Although the gang has greatly waned in power over the years over the past month their has been a resurgence in aggressive recruitment. Apparently, with rumors of seeking to make a move on their old territory again. With over half of the gang abusing the new designer drug known as volt. The gang currently gets their volt from a dealer known only as El Tiburon.
Brown Dynamite Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 So before Osprey posts. How about a notice check while he has the higher ground and all?
Ari Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Notice roll: 22. Sense Motive Roll in case that gets any further context: 16.
Brown Dynamite Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Let's see the notice roll's good enough to catch sight through the little openings in the blinds to the house. Osprey is able to see that the Cuckoo whom was sent away is talking to someone inside. He could make a Gather Info check if you want him to know who said person is as the person does indeed hail from England. Alas the Sense Motive Roll won't help out any further.
Brown Dynamite Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 He recognizes the man as Rupert Mitchell. An English Arm Trafficker with heavy connections to organized crime syndicates all over the U.K. Sticking to smuggling and selling firearms, Mitchell is notable in actually managing to on occasion acquire 'repossessed' alien technology to sell back to his high-end clientele. UNISON has bounced him on and off their priority target list for years due to his policy of supplying arms to anyone who has the money regardless of the consequences or laws for that matter. Unfortunately as good as he is as acquiring any arms his clients desire, he is twice as good at disappearing without a trace.
Ari Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Then Osprey will attempt to sneak down and into the building from a secondary entrance. Stealth roll to avoid notice as he makes his way across the roof and along the side: 17. If the door is locked, a Disable Device roll: 17 again. Not sure that does much.
Brown Dynamite Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Grumpy Cuckoo Notice Check: 1d20 17 Cellphone Cuckoo Notice Check: 1d20 16 Although actually he had a +5 for his Notice so it should be 21 Female Cuckoo Notice Check: 1d20+1 19 Seriously? Wow what is with these rolls. Assorted Cuckoos Notice Check: 1d20+1 18......... Yeah okay if this was day time they would have all spotted him. Now let's see after -4 for visibility. Only the Cuckoo paying attention to his Cell Phone would have seen Osprey. -1 More for hopefully being over 10' less than 20' away when doing the sneaking unsure of the route he took completely. So he gets in unseen thanks to the cover of night. But seriously those rolls. Alas you can try again on Disable Device no harm there. Or y'know take 20. But yes he does not break in with 17.
Ari Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 He went off the the roof around the back, skulked around the next building, darted across the street and then snuck around the back so he could get to the rear door without being seen. And yeah, I'll take 20 on Disable Device, thanks.
Ari Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) Well now is certainly no time for hesitation! Jumping tackle against Mitchell! EDIT: Attack roll: 16. Grapple check: 34. Edited April 30, 2014 by Arichamus
Brown Dynamite Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 So that hits. And he can't beat that check even if he tried. The guy with him's actually going to run past and leave Mitchell with Osprey. Why? Because his loyalty's to the Cuckoos and not the arms dealer.
Ari Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Intimidate roll to try and rattle Mitchell into letting slip some information: 14. Not much chance there!
Brown Dynamite Posted May 21, 2014 Author Posted May 21, 2014 Intimidate: 1d20+5 23 That English Resiliency.
Ari Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Well, since he's playing hard to threaten, Full-Round Action to knock him out: 11. HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA! Oh Osprey, you are having the worst night. Can he shift out of bird-man form without losing the Grapple, and use his Snare to tie up Mitchell, then go see about that gunfire outside?
Brown Dynamite Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 As the universe does not love Osprey on this night I will not make him do a DC10 concentration check though tempted I may be. So sure, he shall freely be able to use his snare to tie up Mitchell and go see about the gunfire outside.
