Thevshi Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 Round Eight 18 Tsunami (unharmed, 2 HP) 14 Earth Monster (bruised) 9 Clover (unharmed) 9 Crimson (bruised) 9 Tundra (bruised, grappled) 8 Ulysses (unharmed, 1 HP) 7 Miss Grue (bruised 2, 3 HP) Last: Security guards (5) Tsunami will spend a Hero Point and remove her fatigue. She will then use the water she just brought over to form a barrier between the giant earth creature and the retreating PanStar security guards.
Thevshi Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 The massive earth monster manages to break free from the energy construct with relative ease and climbs up out of the cavern. Once again Clover tries to trap the earth creature with an energy construct, and once again it misses its Reflex save with a 18. Crimson fires an energy blast at the creature, hitting with a 20, the creature makes its saving throw with a 34.
Thevshi Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 That certainly hits, the creature just misses its toughness save with a 25, so picks up another bruise. Miss Grue is up!
Tiffany Korta Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Miss Grue will relase Tundra and attack the monster Attack Roll: 1d20+8 24
Thevshi Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 That hits, but the creature makes its toughness save with a 25.
Thevshi Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Round Eight 18 Tsunami (unharmed, 2 HP) 14 Earth Monster (bruised 2) 9 Clover (unharmed) 9 Crimson (bruised) 9 Tundra (bruised) 8 Ulysses (unharmed, 1 HP) 7 Miss Grue (bruised 2, 3 HP) Last: Security guards (5) Okay, Tsunami will try a power stunt that would not work on other targets. She will stunt a Drain: Toughness (representing using the water she has handy to try to erode and weaken the earth creature. She will make it Perception Range, so 30 pp Drain (10 ranks). The creature gets a Fort Save (DC 20), and makes it with a 28.
Thevshi Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 The Earth Monster struggles against the new energy bonds, and again breaks free. It will surge (HP to everyone) and send a targeted cone attack toward Crimson and Clover, hitting them both with a 23 (DC 29 toughness saves). Crimson gets a 29 so picks up another bruise and is dazed. Clover gets a 19, so she is staggered and dazed. The both are knocked back a good fifty feet in the air, and miss their concentration checks and begin to fall as their flight fails. Tundra will send two large chunks of rock up into the air to "catch" the unconscious twins. So, Ulysses is up!
Exaccus Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 All out power attacking the earth monster 1d20+8=28
Thevshi Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 So, Ulysses does not have those feats, but can use the house rules that allow him to get up to +2 for each. So, I take that to be -2 def/+2 atk, -2 atk/+2 dam? So +14 damage all together? Plus a critical hit for +19 damage, so DC 34 toughness save. The creature gets a 30, so picks up another bruise.
Tiffany Korta Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Continue attacking the earth monster Attack Roll: 1d20+8 22.
Thevshi Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 The Earth monster gets a 19, but I will give it a reroll (HP to Miss Grue), this time it gets a 17, increased by 10 to 27, so it makes the save.
Thevshi Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Round Nine 18 Tsunami (unharmed, fatigued, 3 HP) 14 Earth Monster (bruised 3) 9 Clover (staggered, dazed) 9 Crimson (bruised 2, dazed) 9 Tundra (bruised) 8 Ulysses (unharmed, 2 HP) 7 Miss Grue (bruised 2, 5 HP) Tusnami will blast at the Earth Creature, hitting with a 27 (DC 26 toughness save). The Earth Creature just makes its save with a 26.
Thevshi Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 The earth creature is going to try to stomp on Ulysses, getting a 17 which is just enough to hit because Ulysses had used all-out attack, so DC 33 toughness save for Ulysses.
Exaccus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Got a 17 yeah gonna re-roll that. 1d20+12=13+10 from reroll = 23
Thevshi Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 Ouch, that is not a good reroll. So Staggered and dazed for Ulysses. Crimson and Clover both are recovered from being dazed, and get back up to their feet. Crimson sends a blast of energy at the big earth creature, hitting with a 21. The Earth creature only gets a 25 on its toughness save, so picks up another bruise. Unless you want to spend you last HP removing the daze, it will be Miss Grue’s turn.
Tiffany Korta Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Miss Grue will attempt to grapple the monster Attack Roll: 1d20+8 26, and grapple Grapple Roll: 1d20+22 42.
Thevshi Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 The earth creature manages to pull itself free with a 47.
Thevshi Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 Round Ten 18 Tsunami (unharmed, fatigued, 3 HP) 14 Earth Monster (bruised 4) 9 Clover (staggered) 9 Crimson (bruised 2) 9 Tundra (bruised) 8 Ulysses (Staggered, 1 HP) 7 Miss Grue (bruised 2, 5 HP) Tsunami will use Defensive Attack (-4 atk/+4 def) and attack the earth monster, missing with a 9.
Thevshi Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 The earth monster will turn its attention to Miss Grue and try to hit her, hitting with a 21, so DC 33 toughness save for Miss Grue! (good time to maybe use one of those hero points she had been building up!)
Tiffany Korta Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Toughness Save: 1d20+10-2 11,yeah hp for a reroll, Toughness Save: 1d20+10-2 18, so thats 28 Dazed and Bruised?
Thevshi Posted November 17, 2014 Author Posted November 17, 2014 Yes, that is a bruise and dazed, as well as knocked back 25 feet. Crimson fires at the creature again, but misses with a 15.
