horngeek
Following. I'd assume the entire Fields family is on the inaugural train trip- would it be okay if I did a partial control of Vector/Catherine's parents for the first post? Link to comment
RobRX
I'll get to post in this thread either tonight or tomorrow. Link to comment

Brown Dynamite
If you want to go ahead and roll for initiative. It'd probably a good opportunity to get it out of the way. Link to comment
horngeek
1d20+6=10 Man. These are not good rolls, are they. Link to comment
RobRX
http://orokos.com/roll/154214 Meh. Edit: I posted a reaction but I didn't really DO anything so, of course, I assume from here on this is the init order that has priority? Edited December 10, 2013 by RobRX Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Well the int order won't have actual priority until combat's actually in motion. IE until after the reactions. Although that'll be quick they are minions and all. Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Alright so you got one contender and two minions for our first conflict. They rolled pretty much like their roles would suggest.Initiative Roll: 1d20+2 17 Hooded LeaderInitiative Roll: 1d20 3 Hooded Minion 1 Initiative Roll: 1d20 1 Hooded Minion 2 So they're not looking to talk and Vector gets an HP for her dad being a target on the scene here. And with Silver Magus on the scene we can start things off. Round 1 17 - Hooded Leader - GM 10 - Vector - 3 HP 06 - Silver Magus - 2 HP 03 - Hooded Minion 2 - GM 01 - Ulysses - 1 HP 01 - Hooded Minion 1 - GM Which means they somehow get to go first as you guys...well you had initiative rolls. Brown Dynamite
Magical Blast vs Silver Magus (DC 22): 1d20+7 14 That's a miss! Round 1 17 - Hooded Leader - GM 10 - Vector - 3 HP 06 - Silver Magus - 2 HP 03 - Hooded Minion 2 - GM 01 - Ulysses - 1 HP 01 - Hooded Minion 1 - GM Vector is up! Link to comment
horngeek
Vector, incidentally, currently has that lovely Dynamic Array set so she's evenly split between her Vector Shield and Enhanced Defence, so her Toughness and Defense are both currently at 10. Link to comment
horngeek
In any case, attacking the closest enemy with Vector. I assume one of the minions, but either way... 1d20+8=11 Man, I am not rolling well right now. Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Since it's a minion you targeted assuming you decided to take 10 instead. Tou Save vs DC 27: 1d20+7 11 Minion is Down! Post Away Edited December 12, 2013 by HG Morrison Link to comment

horngeek
Vector might have a certain amout of success with Diplomacy... but she's in no mood for that. Burning 1 hero point to exploit Beginner's luck and gain a temporary Intimidate bonus of 9... Then proceed to roll a 1 on the roll. Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Will having his highest bonus out of the things that oppose intimidate, it's what he goes with. Will Check vs Intimidate: 1d20+5 13 Link to comment
RobRX
http://orokos.com/roll/155026 Rolling for intimidate too, just for fun. Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Will Check vs Intimidate: 1d20+5 25 He tied the check. Normally the tie would go to Silver Magus for having the higher bonus. But since I'm fiating him having no circumstance bonus, considering he should have a +20 bonus to resist due to being a fanatical minion, I would say he wins the tie. But what with being in an inferior position due to the grapple. Silver Magus wins the check for the +2 circumstance bonus there to demoralize. So he is now shaken! Round 2 17 - Hooded Leader - GM 10 - Vector - 3 HP 06 - Silver Magus - 2 HP 03 - Hooded Minion 2 - GM 01 - Ulysses - 1 HP 01 - Hooded Minion 1 - GM Bound, Shaken, and Helpless Ulysses is up. Maintaining grapple options a go go. Perfect opportunity to interrogate the shaken cultist. Link to comment
