Cavalier and Solar Sentinel take off to rescue a stranded vessel, while Stormbreaker may be somewhat interested in those salvage rights. Meanwhile, down on Earth, Foreshadow and Sage will be dealing with some very strange assaults...

Basically, she's sonar'ing to get the topography and look for any people or evil monsters that aren't in closed off rooms.

Silvia is able to detect that the miners here - and the other ones nearby - are breathing, have steady heartbeats, and seem to be fine in that regard. They're just unconscious. 

 

There's also the thrum of something like electricity somewhere down the corridors...

And here are the results: 

 

Nothing. Whatever "injury" might be happening here, it's not healing through Solar Sentinel's intervention. In connecting with the individual, though, he gets... something. 

 

The rest of the body's autonomic functions are working fine... but there's no spark in the brain. At all. It's as if the Lor are brain dead. But if that's the case, then how are they breathing unaided?

The Mi-go notices. We are in rounds. 

 

For reference, we'll be using for the Mi-go at PL12, which means ATT +8 (+14 Lightning Gun/Unarmed), DEF +14 (+4 Flat-Footed), TOU +10, FORT +10, REF +12, WILL +8. There are also the following alterations:

 

-Blast is stripped out, in favor of: 

Lightning Gun (35 PP Device, Easy-to-Lose)

Blast 10 (Extras: Autofire 1, Power Feats: Affects Insubstantial 2, Homing, Alternate Power 2)

AP: Blast 10 (Extras: Area Cone, Power Feats: Affects Insubstantial 2, Homing)

AP: Stun 10 (Extas: Ranged, Power Feats: Affects Insubstantial 2, Homing)

-The addition of Flight 3 (50 MPH/500 ft.)

-The addition of Space Flight 3 (5c)

-The addition of Immunity 1 (vacuum)

 

The Mi-Go goes on 27.

Cavalier: 6, Unharmed, 3 HP

Stormbreaker: 3, Unharmed, 1 HP

 

The Mi-Go opens fire on Stormbreaker with the Lightning Gun, using its Stun function. That's a 22, which hits, requiring a DC20 Fort save.

 

Solar Sentinel is up next.

Sadly, Cavalier doesn't have Set Up, so the attack doesn't hit.

The Mi-Go cranks up the gun and unleashes an electrical burst at Cavalier. It hits, and thanks to Autofire, it requires a DC26 TOU. Ouch. Reroll! That's better.
