Avenger Assembled Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Let's see some crime scene-related rolls! Notice, Investigate, Medicine, and maybe Survival all could be rolled here.
Corsecjedi Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Hmmm. Notice is the only one I have ranks in at present, and the others aren't allowed untrained. Notice check: 18
RobRX Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) Absent-minded as ever Failed that notice roll Edited December 24, 2013 by RobRX
Vahnyu Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 First things first, Hronos will attempt to use Time Reset, in order to help heal the guard(and everyone else in a 500ft radius), first to Stabilize, then to grand a recovery check with a bonus equal to +4. Healing 4 (Extras: Affects Objects, Area[burst] 500ft radius, Total, Feats: Stabilise, Persistant, Progression[Area] 3, Regrowth)[26PP] (Time Reset) Notice Roll: 1d20+14 → [5,14] = (19)
Avenger Assembled Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Good man, Hronos! Have an HP for doing the heroic thing. http://orokos.com/roll/157048 He makes the check, and survives - yay! I will get Notice up once more folks go.
RobRX Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Can I roll some Knowledge [technology] to notice/understand anything about the lab and/or it's content?
Avenger Assembled Posted December 29, 2013 Author Posted December 29, 2013 Yes you can, Rob; but honestly I'll just tell you (given your high ranks and the need to keep us moving) - the lab does look to have been working on something involving high-energy physics, maybe temporal-related. It's tough to tell, though; it's been heavily ransacked, both robbed and vandalized.
RobRX Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Spending my HP as AA suggested. http://orokos.com/roll/158670 Rolled a total of 14 on a notice roll.
Avenger Assembled Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 That'll get the job done, and let you find the wrong 'un - The car headed south towards the airport. You don't think it's gone too far yet, but you'd better move fast if you're planning to catch it!
Corsecjedi Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) Figured I'd drop a stealth and notice check as Shadowblade moves toward the creepy abandoned-looking building. Stealth check: 35 (darn, what a place to drop a 20) Notice check: 13... what a cruel contradiction, Orokos... Edited January 11, 2014 by Corsecjedi
Vahnyu Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 using Chronal Attunement to find any information about chronal anomalies.
Avenger Assembled Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 The house is a weird blank spot to chronal anomalies, as if someone has built something specifically designed to block chronal scans!
RobRX Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Silver Magus will remain in the back for now and use ESP to look inside the building.
RobRX Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 http://orokos.com/roll/160881 I'm blasting that door open. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Avenger Assembled Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Have another HP, everybody! Hronos, you take another as well.
Corsecjedi Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Stealth checks and notice checks as Shadowblade moves about outside the house. She'll be using her concealment in the shadows as much as she can, hide in plain sight when not. Stealth - 19 Notice - 27
RobRX Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Stunting a Morph (Phantasm) to have him look...well, anything beside his actual appearance as to not reveal it to Shadowblade.
Vahnyu Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Knowledge (Physical Sciences) Roll: 1d20+10 → [18,10] = (28) Knowledge (History) Roll, Untrained, Eidetic Memory: 1d20+4 → [10,4] = (14) In order to ascertain whether this is a case of a parallel dimension, or a reality rewrite.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 V: Physical Sciences: Your sensors are still fried - but that time machine you saw looked really crude and badly built, as if it was built for a one-way trip. You're not surprised there was enough chroniton leakage to affect you and the other heroes. Frankly, it's lucky the machine worked at all, or that it didn't explode! It looked like the kind of machine that somebody with the resources of someone like Litwack might have had to build. History: Nothing there (the DC was 15...) Might be worth rolling for the rest of folks!.
Corsecjedi Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Know (History) - 14 I rolled a 2... Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and burn a hero point here to make up for that abysmal roll and get us some info! Rerolled result (with the +10 if less than 10): 30
RobRX Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 http://orokos.com/roll/164637 Best I could manage with Knowledge - Physical Science.
Avenger Assembled Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 All right, are you guys using any sneaky measures to head over to Litwack's place? Or just trusting in darkness and speed?
Corsecjedi Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I say sneaky! But then, Shadowblade ALWAYS says sneaky!
RobRX Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I think Silver Magus can manage at least decently just by seemingly blending in. If all else fail, well, he's a decent PL7-ish sorcerer without the armor.
