Brown Dynamite
Sense Motive: 1d20+10 17 Knowledge (Behavioral Sciences): 1d20+3 4 The Wah Wah noise is appropriate about now Edited February 3, 2014 by HG Morrison Link to comment
Thevshi
Well, Synapse cannot miss that Sense Motive check. And she gets a 21 on her Kn: Behavioral Sciences check (which is considered trained thanks to Eidetic Memory). Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
So, if I recall Thev hasn't put a Reputation Chart for Synapse/Dee (Could be wrong) But with a spoken name no reason not to Gather Information (Well-Informed): 1d20+10 28 He knows of her. Link to comment
Supercape
I'll let Thev answer that, HG! In the meantime, I think you are up IC! Link to comment
Thevshi
No, I have been very lax with Rep charts for Synapse and Tsunami both. Well, even if we applied a penalty for not being from the UK, that is still a pretty good roll. So, even only hearing a last name, I would guess between her appearance and accent (and Erick's memory), he can identify her based on some things he has read in various UK tabloids (why he might read those I guess is up to you). He would know she is the daughter of a prominent English Lord who is a member of the House of Lords. The tabloids generally regard her as one of the "bad girls" of the British aristocracy, but in her case it is because of her apparent rejection of being part of that social class (ie she has never been seen at any typical aristocratic social events, and is much more likely to be photographed coming out of some underground club venue) and the fact she has a history of being ejected from various private boarding schools pre-college. He likely would also know she attended Oxford, and graduated with honors in physics and mathematics. Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Bluff Check: 1d20+10 17Initiative Check: 1d20+10 11 The veiled threat was not as scary as it could be Link to comment
Supercape
Bluff is good. The Initiative - lets check his will save of a mighty +1 (I'll generously give him a WIS of 12 given his position!) 1d20+1=13 no show. So halfway there! Link to comment
Supercape
Took a bit of narrative licence there. Dee can know all that stuff about Anton with a DC 30 Current Affairs or Popular Culture Roll. DC 20 gives his name and the fact he is ex-army / ex gold medalist in Biathalon Link to comment
Thevshi
No, even with the +4 for eidetic memory, she falls short with a 18 for Kn: Pop Culture. (Though, I think it kind of makes sense, she would not be particularly interested in military personnel, even former ones) Link to comment
Supercape
Can Dee give me a notice roll DC 22 Link to comment
Thevshi
Nope, she is just a bit short with 18. Link to comment
Supercape
Failed! However for Plot purposes, can we say that as the crowds thin, she can overhear Erick and K... Link to comment
Supercape
right, no Singing skill for Foreshadow! Which means a straight CHA roll 10+ to garner the attention, 20+ to garner some respect! Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Singing: 1d20+3 8 He's not selling out concert halls indeed Link to comment
Supercape
Lets have some bad karma from that murdering of a russian classic! Link to comment
Thevshi
Well, going to make a Knowledge test for Synapse (whether it is Streetwise or Current Events I am not sure matters, as it will be the same). With the +4 from Eidetic Memory, she gets a 24, so I think she probably recognizes Foreshadow, or someone that looks like him. So, instead of mind blasting him, she will try to reach into his mind with Telepathy to read his surface thoughts, getting a 27 on her Power Check. Link to comment
Supercape
HG Foreshadow can resist that, or chose to fail Link to comment
Brown Dynamite
Auto fail for the narrative! Link to comment
Supercape
Foreshadow has a prepared suprise attack ready! Flat footed the athlete has a defence of +4 (14) Link to comment

Supercape
1d20+8=13 staggered and dazed, technically. But fundamentally, with Dee and Foreshadow there, Ill say thats a knockout. post away! Link to comment
Thevshi
I think we are at a good point for a cut-scene Cape. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, Dee is past the point of being polite, time to dive into the mind of the pumped up athlete, she gets a 25 on her power check for Telepathy. Link to comment
Supercape
Athlete has a will save of +5, but you know, Im just gonna say you penetrate his mind rather than give him a 1 in 20 chance of screwing up a good story! Link to comment
