Thevshi Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 "Something like that." Crater said to Georgia with a small smile. "What kind of hosts would be if we allowed something the happen to one of our guests within the first minute of being here?" He remained close to the teen as they slowly drifted back down the platform where the others were waiting. Rulana did not seem overly bothered by Georgia's sudden departure and spoke briefly with some of the others while Georgia and Crater were still up in the air before excusing herself and leaving the group with Chase. Once Georgia and Crater had rejoined the group, Chase started them off along one of the walkways that connected the buildings inside the crater. "First we will stop by the quarters you all will be using over the weekend and then we can start the tour."
Thunder King Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Mali was amused. She herself had never even left the Earth, but her crime fighting had taken her to alternate universes, and she had fought all sorts of foes. This was not a fight, though. She wasn't angry or on edge. She was in friendly territory. She could afford to relax a bit. She had a few younger chargers to watch out for, but they seemed to handle themselves well. She'd hardly 'seen it all' but she was a little more jaded than the others. But this was the moon. This was space. This was a place where there were aliens and moon monkeys and all sorts of strange and wonderful things. "Thank you so much for having us here." She finally said. "This is amazing."
Aoiroo Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 "It is." Georgia added as she floated down into step beside them playing with her phone, "No reception though. Oh well," Pocketing the phone she kept in step as they were led away, "So we sharing rooms for this or are we gonna get our own space for the weekend?" It wasn't that much of a concern, she wouldn't mind terribly either way, given she'd be bunking with Mali if that were the case and she didn't know much about the girl other then she looked seven kinds of fit. But maybe that was a thing here. Lord knew Georgia looked pudgy next to any of the upperclassmen. The phys ed program was described as intense in the brochure.
KnightDisciple Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 William gave a smile and nod to their hosts once more as Chase led them onwards. For a bit of time, he was content to quietly follow, drinking in the sights of being on the moon as he relaxed a bit, a smile slowly growing on his face as he began to thoroughly enjoy himself. He did pipe up when Chase mentioned the tour. "Will there be a period during our stay where we'll be free to roam around on our own? I mean, obviously there are restricted areas or whatever, but will we have to stick to a schedule the entire time we're up here?"
Thevshi Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 "We have arrange for you to stay in a suite in the same building where Chase has his quarters." Crater replied to Georgia's question. "Each of you have your own room, which all share a central common room." As the group walked along the walkways, they began to pass more Farside City residents, who were all tall and thin like Crater and Councilwoman Rulana. The group of teens certainly attracted some looks, but most seemed polite enough not to stare, and all seemed familiar with Chase. They passed a number of small gardens, even an area which looked like a small park, along with a number of small shops along the walkway and the upper floors of several of the tall buildings. Chase shook his head in response to William's question, "no, there will certainly be some chances for you all to have some time to explore and look around on your own. Just want to be sure we get you all oriented some before we let you loose."
