trollthumper Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 All right. After some delay, we'll be using >AA's Glacia as built, with some slight modifications. Thanks to the divine blood that runs through their veins, all their attacks have Affects Insubstantial 2.The Jotnar go on 22 and 16.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Unharmed, 0 PHTemperance: 16, Unharmed, 2 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPJotun 1 goes first, unleashing a frosty Snare at Temperance. It hits, necessitating a DC20 REF save. She makes it. Jotun 2 attempts to hit Ghost Girl with a barrage of icicles. That hits on a 26, and due to Autofire, it's a DC27 TOU save.Temperance's turn, where at first she's regretting having so many ice-based attacks. Until...Move Action: Demoralize Jotun 1. 12 versus 28, so nooooope.Free Action: Stunt Transform {Ice into Water) 9 off of Array.Free Action: Switch over.Standard Action: It's ranged, so I still need to hit the broad side of a barn. And I do. That should produce a tide of eitr-like water that can be used against the Jotnar next round.Ghost Girl is up next.

trollthumper Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 Jotun 1 takes a -8 to STR.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -8 STR, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Unharmed, 0 HPTemperance: 16, Unharmed, 2 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPJotun 1 unleashes Autofire on Temperance. That hits, for a +3 from Autofire, resulting in a DC28 TOU save. She takes a Bruise.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -8 STR, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Unharmed, 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, 2 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPJotun 2 attempts to ensnare Ghost Girl. And it goes absolutely wild.Temperance's turn. She uses Move Object to manipulate the eitr and bring it crashing down upon Jotun 2. As it's Area Shapeable, that's DC19 Reflex to halve, DC24 TOU to resist. REF save failed, and Jotun 2 takes a Bruise and is Dazed.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -8 STR, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Bruised x1, Dazed (Temperance's Action), 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, 2 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPGhost Girl is up next.

trollthumper Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Jotun 1 is Demoralized, but makes his FORT save.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -7 STR, Demoralized, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Bruised x1, Dazed (Temperance's Action), 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, 2 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPJotun 1 attempts to Blast w/ Autofire Temperance. Oooooof. Okay, so, DC25 base, +5 for crit, +4 for Autofire, which means she needs to make a DC34 TOU save. A 22. I think I'll try a HP, just in case. And... that's even worse.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -7 STR, Demoralized, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Bruised x1, Dazed (Temperance's Action), 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, Dazed (Jotun 1's Action), Staggered, 1 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPTemperance's turn. Spending her last HP to shake off Dazed. Using Move Object to hit Jotun 1. At least turnabout is fair play. DC24 TOU save, and boo ya.Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -7 STR, Dazed (Temperance's Action), Staggered, Demoralized, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Bruised x1, 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, Staggered, 0 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPGhost Girl is up next.
Gizmo Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Ghost Girl Move Action: Back up. Standard Action: Emotion Control 12 (Extras: Area [Perception, +2], Flaws: Range [Touch, -2], Sense Dependent [Vision], Drawback: Power Loss [in Sunlight, -3]) [9PP] (beautiful terror) She'll actually go for 'love' as the emotion here rather than 'fear'. They don't want these things just running out in random directions, after all, and she could get on board with being the queen of a bunch of icy dead giants. That's a DC 22 Will Save. I'm assuming since Temperance knows it's coming she can cover her eyes.
trollthumper Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 All right, I'm not sure I have time for a full rundown, and would like Giz to get another post in before the deadline, so... one of them shakes it off, the other most definitely does not.Their actions to follow.
trollthumper Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 So, as we begin...Jotun 1: 22, Unharmed, -6 STR, Dazed (Temperance's Action), Staggered, Demoralized, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Bruised x1, Fanatical, 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, Staggered, 0 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPJotun 1 is Dazed, does nothing. Jotun 2 is Fanatical, and just starts worshipping Ghost Girl. Temperance takes advantage of the moment to try and knock the ice giant down.28 hits. That's a DC24 TOU save, and the Jotun is Bruised.Jotun 1: 22, Bruised x1, -7 STR, Staggered, 0 HPJotun 2: 16, Bruised x1, Fanatical, 0 HPTemperance: 16, Bruised x1, Staggered, 0 HPGhost Girl: 16, Unharmed, 3 HPGhost Girl is up next.
