trollthumper Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 That'll give you a +4 for a total TOU save of 31, and the demon goes splat. We are out of rounds.
trollthumper Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 Knowledge (life sciences) and Knowledge (technology) checks, if you please.
Fox Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Knowledge Checks: Technology (+17), Life Sciences (+9) (1d20 + 17=24, 1d20 + 9=22)So, final check of 24 for Tech, 22 for Life Sciences. She's untrained for life sciences, but eidetic memory allows the untrained check. Yaaaaaay eidetic memory actually being useful for once. :)
Supercape Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 1d20+1=4, 1d20+1=5 You know nothing, Jon Snow.
Thunder King Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I'm gonna use skill mastery to get a 25 in life sciences for Graft. He got a 17 on technology, and I'm fairly certain he can't use all of that. He is the doctor, so this makes sense, lol
trollthumper Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 Graft gets that yeah, this technology looks quite advanced - cybernetics usually aren't of this level on Earth. Not only that, they seem to fit seamlessly, almost like full-on replacement limbs that have become a part of the body. Then again, it's demons. He doesn't really know demons. But he imagines that whoever put these limbs in really knew what they were doing when it came to taking the body apart and putting it back together.Dragonfly, meanwhile, gets that while this technology uses bits she can't understand - the exterior casing looks like brass but feels like titanium - it is very, very advanced. If it's a local player, there are five firms in Freedom that could turn out cybernetics like this. One of them is ArcheTech, and Dragonfly is mostly sure they've gotten out of the infernal sorcery game. Another one, CoreTex, was the company broken into above. So that leaves three...
trollthumper Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 In response to Pitch's question, Dragonfly can run down three candidates in cybernetics in Freedom who might be able to produce this quality of work:-SynThesis, a rising player on the scene that got started with capital from an angel investor three years ago and has been working on high-grade prosthetics, with an eye towards affordable full-interaction cybernetic limbs.-Harkende, a German interest that's set up local shop in Hanover and made some amazing innovations as of late.-Devenex, a hardware/software firm that's been showing some financial troubles as of late, but whose CEO, Adrian Fletcher, has been burning up the TED talk circuit.
Fox Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I'm assuming that Dragonfly can look Devenex up online to find an address?
