Avenger Assembled Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Let's see, go ahead and give me an unmodified d20 roll for this one.
Electra Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Paige gets an 18 I don't know if that's good or bad!
Fox Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 For one? For both? Unmodified D20 roll. (1d20=1, 1d20=15)...ahahaha. In fine form today, GK.GK: 1Tiamat: 15
Blue Rose Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Oh, hey, never tagged the OOC. *Tag.* And in case it matters (unlikely), Sam's brand isn't skin deep. It can cause magical interference on internal scans, possibly making it hard to identify her as human, vice something else. She can't get a thorough chest X-Ray.
Blue Rose Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Important question. Does Sam pick anything up in the dinosaur village from her magicdar?
Electra Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Paige is going to attempt mind-reading on the shaman, to see if she can sort through what he actually knows about the arrival of the Preservers, and just as important, where that knowledge comes from. She rolls a 22
Avenger Assembled Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 Will vs 22 = 20 Notice = 17, he does not notice! First question - he knows that the sky gods will come soon and take the People somewhere wonderful. As far as Paige can tell, he is pleased about this - he had not been looking forward to the prophesied doom from the sky.
Electra Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Okay, second question then, and a terrible, awful roll! Spending an HP Critical Success, she rolls a 30
Avenger Assembled Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 He cannot beat either of those! He learned about those things by praying to "Ghorummaz, the Dragon Within the Earth, Lord of Storms, the Earth-Binder" - a being that the dinosaurs worship as a god! Somewhat ominously, Ghorummaz appears to be a real entity - the shaman speaks to him by swimming to a nearby volcanic isle and speaking to a voice at the volcano's mouth. Ghorummaz is glad of their liberation - he has told the shaman that "your salvation will be my deliverance!"
Blue Rose Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Oh, we're awakening Lavos? Well, darn. I brought the wrong hero. 'Cuz everyone knows the only way to kill the real Lavos is the power of music.
Avenger Assembled Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 BR, feel free to make an Arcane Lore roll to know more about the G-man! http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4613821/ = 29 Fast-Forward does...pretty good!
Blue Rose Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 If you could roll for me, that'd be great; IC and Oro aren't working from boatnet. Also, an arcane lore roll to tell what kind of juju the shaman's packing would be great.
KnightDisciple Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) I got you covered, BR. Just don't get mad at me if the rolls aren't great! EDIT: Here we go! Kit Arcane Lore Roll 1 (For the Big G): 8. Kit Arcane Lore Roll 2 (Examination of Shaman Juju): 15. Sorry I didn't do better! Edited August 21, 2014 by KnightDisciple
Blue Rose Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 *Gets angry at KD.**Rages.**Is out of melee range.**Runs out of rage rounds.**Is fatigued.**Takes a nap.*
Avenger Assembled Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 The name isn't familiar off the top of your head - but the shaman does seem to be packing some real mojo, the kind of low-level magic that comes from a practitioner borrowing it from some larger, more powerful entity
