Brown Dynamite Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 The woes of Batman. Was going to suggest he could take 20. But can't for breaking security. Let's see it was a DC20 failing by 5 or more alerts someone. So...two roving guards heading towards the cellar. Nevermore has time to prepare an ambush. Break the single lightbulb in the room before they enter. Sneak back out. Hide. Stand still. Etc.
KnightDisciple Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Let me know if you want me to make any rolls for the IC plan. Also I'll edit the post to account for it being 1 bulb and not 2.
Brown Dynamite Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Hm. We'll say he has total concealment due to darkness. So unless you leap out and attack (which they're minions so can take 10 to do so).
KnightDisciple Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 He's going to wait until one of them goes to fix the lightbulb.
KnightDisciple Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Right, so, definitely wanting to nab the guy reaching for the lightbulb, take him out, then hit the other guy ASAP. Do we start a combat, or do you just want some rolls from me.
Brown Dynamite Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 They're minions so you can take 10. Will say this is would be a surprise round if in combat. So you can go ahead and roll initiative now as a precaution for if it slips to rounds after you grab that one.
KnightDisciple Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Initiative Roll: 20. Gonna nab the guy, cover his mouth, chokehold, stealth takedown, etc etc.
KnightDisciple Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Basically trying to slip into the room with the girl unnoticed until he's in there, with a strong suspicion he'll have to dash over and keep her quiet or even knock her out before he can start man-handling the security remote. Let me know what, if any, rolls you want, though I feel compelled to remind you that if it matters he did get a sheet upgrade recently so some numbers won't be the same. Or we can not worry too much about it.
Brown Dynamite Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 Use the upgraded sheet for convenience. And here's a Notice: 1d20+1 9 which was going to oppose his Stealth...but now he doesn't need to roll! Decide as you will whether you're taking the remote (sleight of hand). Threatening (intimidate). Or knocking her out (No roll needed). Even trying civil discourse is an option, but she might just scream out or alarm for help. Or if you want to try something other than those things go ahead and I'll give you a heads up if a roll is needed.
KnightDisciple Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hm. What would you want from me if I moved in (door closed behind me), ran over, put my hand over her mouth and restrain her, and told her to stay calm or she'd be knocked out and restrained (aka tied up/handcuffed)? Basically going for a mix of intimidate, knock out, and discourse. He doesn't like the idea of knocking her out, but he also doesn't trust her to not just scream. So he's going to try hedging his bets a bit. That make sense?
KnightDisciple Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 How about an intimidate roll. How about this: 29. I AM THE NIGHT.
Brown Dynamite Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 Well she can't beat that. But maybe she's not a sniveling mess. Intimidate: 1d20+5 24
KnightDisciple Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 What nationality is this dude, again? It looks like the girl called him "daddy" in Slovak. Just wondering if Alek could say something in Georgian or Romanian and have her understand it.
Brown Dynamite Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 He's Bulgarian. She'd understand Romanian but not Georgian.
