Supercape Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Oops! I forgot about horse. Im just going to say the horse runs! Edit made!
Supercape Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 So DC 21 Toughness save and you are up!
GooseInduced Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Ugh. So sorry for the delay. Got crazy busy. But I have returned!!! Toughness: 1d20+7 14 Curses!!! Does being wounded have any negative affects? Still not sure how it all works (Haven't done much combat)
Supercape Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 That would make you Bruised, Injured, Dazed for one round (as Huntsman is being sneaky and using lethal damage). This would effectively mean he goes again! You can of course reroll any result by spending an HP - the reroll would be 1d10+10 rather than 1d20 (effectively meaning a toughness save of 1d10+10+toughness) if that makes sense. Although you may find it more awesome to get hurt too! Let me know, and dont sweat being busy!
Supercape Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Do you want to post a reaction to being shot? (would be cool, and you can still speak / howl/ grunt / stamp feet!)You could also describe how you get injured. It is always possible to narrate additional stuff like being hamstrung (and reduced speed) or some other injury if you have an idea for a good narration and complication. Strictly your choice of course!
GooseInduced Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Alright. I have her at a wounded chest/shoulder. Probably hindering her ability to move somewhat. Your up!
Supercape Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Ok, so the Huntsmans gun is very powerful, but takes a round to reload (only 1 shot!) - so Skaere is up again!
GooseInduced Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 2 questions: How far apart are they? And what is Vince doing?
Supercape Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 Vince is paralysed with fear (although feel free to inspire him out of it if you wish! Lets call that a DC 10 CHA roll as a free action if you so wish) They are only about 20 feet apart.
GooseInduced Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Kind hard to snap him out of it when she can't speak though. I'm just trying to figure out if he is still on her back. I'm going to have her finally just say enough and attack the hunter but if Vince is on her back or whatever that might prove tricky
Supercape Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Well if he is still on your back we can call that a complication! In any case, feel free to attack!
GooseInduced Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Alright! She's gonna bite him!!!!Attack - Bite: 1d20+7 18
Supercape Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 And that just hits! He is tough old bird though. His Toughness is +4 1d20+4=14 ouch! Its a DC 22 Toughness, so that makes him bruised and dazed (or worse if you feel lethal damage coming on). Post away!
Supercape Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 It depends a bit on what the tackle involves! Probably the best bet is a grapple attack - possibly as part of a charge (see house rules for both!) The alternatives are a trip attack (pushing them over, usually a bit of a waste unless somebody is on a cliff face!) or a Rush attack - where you basically plow into an opponent a push them back (essentially forcing them to move). But I guess the former is what you want? if you have time and inclination, check out the house rules. It will need an attack roll (which might be at a bonus if you are charging, although charging reduces your defence).
GooseInduced Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Yeah. Skaere has move by action. So I was thinking she did a sort of bite and run and then because he's dazed she would come back around and basically pounce on him.
Supercape Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 Sounds like a grapple? The Bite would be an attack, the pounce a grapple. You could do both in one round with extra effort (fatiguing yourself or spending an HP), but otherwise one at a time ? (Or just say its a grapple, the bite is just some fluff distraction!)
GooseInduced Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) Well I had her attack and come back around in her post on her last attack. So her grapple could be her next action. Did you wanna put up the hunter's response? Edited October 21, 2014 by GooseInduced
Supercape Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 So done! Sorry for losing track there If you could roll the grapple attack? His Defence is +8 (or 18). If you make that, roll grapple (your d20 + grapple bonus!)
GooseInduced Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 OK.. Attack: 1d20+7 23 BAM!!! HIT! OK... I think it's like this. Though if so it's crazy high and I need to grapple with her more lol Grapple: 1d20+16 23 I hope I did that right.
GooseInduced Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 oh wait... I think it was supposed to be +17 in her wolf form XD
Supercape Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 1d20+12=17 which is a fail by 6, meaning he is totally grapples and immobile / helpless! Post away!
GooseInduced Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Should i combine her next action into the next post? Because there isn't much to put up aside from the tackle and from there is it his action next or mine? I'm not entirely sure.
